The Queued4Christ Show With Pastor Dr. Marcus Dudley- "A Faith Framework That Actually Moves You"
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
You can do everything “right” and still end up in a season that hurts, confuses you, and tests your faith. We sit down with Pastor Dr. Marcus Dudley, our self-proclaimed CEO, Chief Encouraging Officer, to talk about what happens when your life shifts and you realize you cannot wait on an explanation to start healing. If you’ve been stuck replaying what went wrong, this conversation offers a different path forward: trust God, grieve honestly, and keep moving.
We also break down the "QUEUED" framework, a practical roadmap for faith and breakthrough: Quicken, Unite, Educate, Understand, Get Excited, and Stay Determined. We get specific about why purpose is not a solo mission, how the right community protects your character, and why accountability is not punishment, it’s love that tells the truth. Pastor Dudley explains the difference between a God-ordained season of isolation and the dangerous idol of self-sufficiency that cuts you off from the help God is sending.
Then we go deeper into personal development and spiritual growth: investing in yourself, staying in a student posture, and sharpening your tools while you wait. We challenge “microwave results” and convenient Christianity with a hard truth: sometimes God says He’s given it to you, but you still have to fight for it, prepare for it, and become ready to sustain it. If imposter syndrome has been talking loud, we remind you that somebody is waiting on your voice, your calling, and your contribution.
If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s in a waiting season, and leave a review so more people can find the podcast. What part of your life needs a bold next step right now?

Alright, get ready for the message. Hey, hey, hey everyone. It's Kiana, your creator, and the host of you for Christ. And I want to say thank you to everyone that tuned in last night. Man, I'm telling you, it was so amazing to have um you all just commenting, you liking, you share it. Oh my gosh, I am just so excited and overwhelmed. And I thank you all for just, you know, tuning in. Now we got that two. But what you gonna do? Okay, so I'm super excited um about that. Make sure you are going to the website at www.keis.com and you are going to the YouTube channel. You are liking, you are subscribing, you hitting that notification bell. I'm gonna stuff. Um, you know, tonight I am just overwhelmed to have my special guest on tonight. Um, he is going to really, really be the CEO, like he said, the chief encouraging officer. You do not want to miss this. Um, so, anyways, I don't want to hold you off. I don't want to uh, like you said, belabor the time. I don't want to belabor the time. I want to make sure that we have enough time. Um, so I am going to say a quick prayer because I want to be able to make it. We got a lot of stuff to cover, and I want to make sure that um he has enough time. So I'm gonna say a quick prayer before we go in a little further anyway.
Opening Prayer For The Night
SPEAKER_04Okay, so dear Heavenly Father, God, I say thank you um for carving out this time. God, I say thank you for opening up the doors and put and open up the windows of heaven and pouring out a blessing. God, we just thank you now for the ways that you have made. God, we thank you now because we know that you are in the midst, God. God, we just thank you now because we know that you have allowed us to be here, God. You have carved out this time. God, we ask you to go with um Pastor Dougley on today, God. Touch his mind, his heart, his soul. God, anything his hands touch, we ask you to allow it to turn to go. And we thank you for everything. God, we thank you for the moment that you have given me, God, to be able to bless your people, God. God, I ask you to hide me behind the cross, allow someone to hear something that they must want to be saved. God, we thank you for everything that you're doing. God, we just love you, we honor you, and we cherish you. It's in Jesus' name that I pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Okay, so, anyways, I want to um get on here.
The CUED Framework Explained
SPEAKER_04I need to let y'all know exactly what cued stands for, right? Um, like I said um before earlier when I was um before yesterday, and if you didn't tune in yesterday, when God gave me this acronym, I had gone through a whole lot, right? I had gone through um a 20-year divorce and and everything. And I asked God, I said, God, what do you want me to do while I wait? I am waiting on you. I am in cue for you. I am in cue, right? And if you know the the thing is like you're waiting, right? And I said, God, well, what do you want me to do while I wait? Because I want to go to heaven. That was what I made that I want to go to heaven, all that, you know, and um, and so God, he allowed me to get the name of the podcast that way. And and I tell people all the time that it is it is simply not because my name's hard with a cue, which that would have been very, very cool and very, very um awesome. But no, it's because God wanted me to be able to apply this to my life so I can have a successful life on purpose while I'm here. And um, so I just want to quickly go through it. Um, so you know, the the Q stands for um, this is uh well this the Q is the framework, right? It's a lifestyle of faith and breakthrough. And it is, you know, it stands for quick, ignited, educated, understanding, excited, and determined. And I and I believe that this framework, it helps move your vision from ideas to impact. And one of the things that I said last night, and I and I don't solicit drug dealers, but I believe that if you put this acronym to anything, that you would you would be successful. And I was like, I was like, yeah, if you put it to a drug dealer, you could be successful. But I don't I don't I don't look, I ain't trying to support that. Look, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't hold me there. So, anyways, the Q stands for quicken, right? Is um, you know, like Ephesians say, Ephesians 2 and 5 say, even when we were dead and sin, he made us alive with Christ. And so that is one of the things when you get that calling, right? God gives you an instruction to move quickly and with obedience. And so you have to be, you know, quicken in your soul. And that's one of the things that the Q stands for. Quicken, you get that calling. God calls you and tells you what you need to do, right? And then once you do that, you unite with someone, okay? The Bible says in Psalms 133 and 1, how good and pleasant it is when God's people dwell together in unity, right? We have to understand that purpose is not a solo mission. My pastor, Pastor Darius always said, you don't go as far as your dream, you go as far as your team. And so we have to make sure that we are surrounding ourselves with those ones that can push us, they can push us closer to that purpose, right? And um, and so we next is education, right? We have to understand that we have to be educated. I speak this all the time: education, education, education. Okay. You want to make sure that you are educating yourself because you can go by your, you know, you can understand your calling and everything, but you may not know how to get to podcasting. When I started this podcasting, I had to get educated. I had to, you know, maybe get the knowledge. Like I tell people, go to YouTube university, right? That that is that is what you can do, right? And then you understand it more. Once you get the education, you understand it. The Bible says in Proverbs 4 and 7, and all that getting get understanding, right? Understanding changed the ball game, right? Like literally. I um, you know, I was telling people uh before I was like, you know, when I worked in the emergency room, I did it, you know, we had training on CPR to actually do it on a person, it was different. And so one of our directors, she pulled us to the side and we did like a mock training, and they under it helped me understand it all a whole lot better, especially when a cold was coming in. And so you have to make sure that you are understanding because if you don't understand your calling, you will misuse it. And I don't care what nobody says, you know, you got prophets, you got people out here that don't understand what they're supposed to be doing. I ain't stepping on no toes, but anyways, that's what it is. And so um then you get excited. Once you understand a little bit more, you you get excited about where God is taking you, you um, you know, you want to talk about it more, you want to give it more, you want to, you know, be you don't care about it, and that excitement brings on that determination. And so that is what it is. I didn't want to, I like I said, I wanted to make sure that you all understood what the acronym stood for. Okay, so now look, I'm
Pastor Dr. Marcus Dudley Joins
SPEAKER_04you know what? I'm I'm so ready to bring my guests on. I don't think y'all understand how ready I am to bring my guests on. And if you if you a change member, you know him like uh like none other. Um, so I want to make sure that you are ready. I am ready to bring none other than Pastor Dr. Marcus Dudley.
SPEAKER_03How are you? Yes, family. Listen, mama, I made it. That's what that's how I feel. Yeah, that's how I feel, mama. I made it. I finally made the cute podcast. I feel like I made it. Mama, I made it. Tell my mama made it. My mama made it in Causaville, Mississippi, Sarah Francis Dunda. Tell her I made it, mama.
SPEAKER_04Tell her look, he looked let me say he told me um a couple ways in October. He was like, look, I'm kind of sad I ain't on the podcast.
SPEAKER_03Everybody was on the podcast except me. I'm like, what wait wait wait a minute. What I got to do to get on the podcast? Let me get my weight up. Let me get my weight up. I heard you while I was backstage, hey, we're not soliciting no buy, no drug. Listen, without advocating. No, we're not, not without advocating, no drug dealers. Hey, if you come across it, hey, we can't stop that, but we're not advocating.
SPEAKER_04I am not advocating. I say I often say I say, Lord Jesus, hey, I advocate for no drug dealer, but I that's how confident I am, right?
SPEAKER_03It's the framework is right how this framework can be easily adapted by anyone, right? And I think that's the uh the power of one frameworks, uh, frameworks that are memorable, they should be practical. Anyone should be able to pick this framework up and implement it and uh see success. So uh, so yeah, hats off to you for that.
SPEAKER_04Well, thank you. Thank you. Um I I I hats off to God because you know, like I said, yeah, I was literally, I I God allowed me to heal a year. Like I literally was in the crying and everything and trying to figure out life, and and I was like, Well, God, what do you want me to do? You know, and so when he gave me, you know, he gave me that year to cry, he was like, okay, now it's time for you to get up. Now, you know, like, okay, and you know, I I said, God, okay. I and when he gave it to me, I just ever since then I've been running.
SPEAKER_03Like, I literally and you know, you say something
Healing Without Getting An Explanation
SPEAKER_03good already. I want to jump jump in is how you normalize grief and how you normalize that it is a process, right? And um, and what I love about uh your story from the story I've heard is, and this is what I find out with people sometimes we wake, we allow uh the absence of an explanation to hold up our healing.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_04You already started.
SPEAKER_03Okay, yeah, we sit around waiting on an explanation, and this is one of the things that God, you know, revealed to me is that sometimes there is no explanation, there is no rationality behind what they did, why they did it. It wouldn't make sense if they tried to make it make sense. And so sometimes you have to trust God and move forward and heal in the absence of an explanation.
SPEAKER_04That's what type of stuff we are on today.
SPEAKER_03Okay, that's that's we don't have time. We don't we don't have time. Listen, I'm glad you I'm glad God gave you a you know time to deal with your grief because you can't put a time, you can't put an arbitrary time clock on grief. You know, we believe differently, and and but there reached a point in your journey where you felt like it was time to stop mourning and start moving.
SPEAKER_04Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_03There is a time to mourn, but there's also a time where we have to mobilize our mourning into moving and to move forward.
SPEAKER_04Yes, yes, and that that leads us to how you know God was like, it's time to connect with the right people because you know we um, you know, often, like you said, we we'll sit in silence or whatever, um, but it's time to move to that next level.
Isolation Versus Godly Separation
SPEAKER_04And uh so I just kind of want you to talk about the danger of the isolation when when God is asking you to move now um from one level to the next.
SPEAKER_03What what are some of the dangers of isolation that it could be you know what I I I'll say this before I talk about the dangers of isolation um is and you modeled this in your life, how there are some seasons that isolation is necessary, right, right, how I believe that isolation is often a prerequisite for elevation. Sometimes God has to isolate and to separate before he elevates, right? And so uh when it comes to isolation, we have to understand what season we are in, right? And I think there are seasons of isolation when God says, Hey, I want to separate you from everything that may be separating you from me. Wow, wow, I'm calling you into a divine season of wilderness where it's just me and you, no distractions, nobody pulling on you, nobody uh interrupting what I'm trying to do in you. And so, first of all, you gotta understand, right? Hey, is this a God-ordained season of isolation? If that is, then you have to learn what God wants you to learn. You have to develop, you have to grow before God can shift you. But I think what you are speaking to more specifically is when we isolate ourselves independent of God.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_03Where we uh we what we take on this adage, uh I can do bad all by myself, or uh I, you know, and that's what I tell people, you you you've heard this before, uh uh Q that I say it all the time, you can do bad all by yourself, but you can't do good all by yourself, right? Because it's it's it's consistent in scripture. Every time God blesses someone, he blesses them within the confines of relationship. And when God wants to bless you, he connects you with somebody, right? And so some of the dangers of isolation is you um making yourself an idol. Saying I can do it.
SPEAKER_04You got to unpack that.
SPEAKER_03You make it you, you, you so it's it is the idol of what I call self-sufficiency. Wow, wow, when there is a point that some people can get to the point where I don't need anybody, including God. Wow. And that is what I call the again the idol of self-sufficiency. And what this does is it cuts you off from the potential help God is sending you to help you be who He's created and call you to be. Right. You know, it's it it is it is trying to live life by yourself, live life alone, live life on the island, island, and God created us to be social beings.
SPEAKER_04Right. The Bible clearly tells us it is not good for man to be alone.
SPEAKER_03It is not good for man to be alone, and you can and you can you can you know interpret that several different ways, you know. Um, but but I I do think it speaks to relationally that God intended for us to be in relationship with others. Because we can't be this is this it you hear it, you hear it. My changed family know this. You can't be your best self by yourself. Cannot. You cannot be your best self by yourself, right? Right, right. And so I think that those are the the one those are the significant dangers. One, um, isolation, if especially if God had ordained a season of isolation in your life, uh, slipping into the idol of self, the I the idolatry of self-sufficiency, and then it is you um refusing to be your best self by refusing to be in relationship with others that God may be calling you to to help develop you.
Accountability And Covenant Relationships
SPEAKER_04That right there, that speaks that speaks volume because that right there, they a lot of people don't want people to hold them accountable.
SPEAKER_03All right, yeah.
SPEAKER_04You know what I'm saying? Yeah, they are, you know, it's like and and I know I know a lot of people that are that don't even want to change because they don't want to be held accountable for stuff, you know. Like I don't want I don't want that as too much, you know, and and a lot of people hold back themselves and say, I'm gonna stay right here on this level. They get so comfortable with with staying who they are and and and and saying, okay, you know what, I don't I don't want that responsibility, you know.
SPEAKER_03Right. That's one of the things I I ask, you know, you know, I I say up front, this is one of the things when when I enter into relationship and what I'm what I'm asked to enter into relationship, whether it's a mentor or mentee relationship or any type of friendship, I say one of the things I say is you have to let me be truthful.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_03Because if I can't be truthful with you, then we can't be in covenant relationship. Right. And you say something key. I I I may be different when I say this, but I love for people to hold me accountable, right?
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_03I love for people to speak into my life. I love for people to say, hey Dunny, you hey, I love you, but but but you wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong that you you off today. What's up? Right. And I think you can't, and relational intelligence saying you can't give everybody that space or the access. But somebody in your life needs to have access to you that don't care how you feel or how you look when they tell you, but their job as being in covenant relationship with you is to tell you the truth whether you want it or not. Lord, so my friends know me. I don't know if it's in the polling complex. They know I, you know, I used to, you know, one of the things I man, I used to the temple, you know, I I just preach about it. Get your lick back. I was the lick back, the lick at king guy. I had to get my lick back you know third listen I got to get my lick back oh I'm the lick back in and so uh so I used to you know you know I used I tell a bad I used to get upset and agitated but at the end of the day I invite and I relish people loving me enough to tell me the truth right right yeah and that that is so that is so good because um you know one of the ladies that I had on here before you know she was she was saying how you have to make sure that you get in the right community because um a lot of people you know of course if you surround and we know they're saying birds don't fell flop yeah y'all sit over here and say I ain't like them yes if you if you hang around them guess what uh you like them right and let's let's take it to the Bible we got some Bible folks over here the Bible says how can two walk together lest they agree come on now yeah let's that's let's let's let's break it this that's that's that's anchoring inscription that's rooted that's grounded in scripture the Bible says how can two walk together lest they agree right right so you can sit up here and say oh yeah I don't I don't really like going out with them but you hang it with like come on now you know so I just want you to just kind of you know you know kind of tap in on or talk about the the community and um how important it is to surround yourself around good community when you're headed to the next level when God has called you to yeah I I think that's
Finding The Right Community For Growth
SPEAKER_03important.
SPEAKER_04I think the Bible speaks to that um also the importance of uh community when it says I think it's first Corinthians says uh bad company corrupt good character and I think in the wisdom literature it speaks to if you walk with the wise you'll become wise but if you walk with fools you become fools and this is what Pete says all the time you don't have to be a fool but if you walk with one you will be so that's the importance of getting around not just community but the right type of community the right type of community one that's going to um just want to challenge you that's going to pull out of you what God has placed in you uh a community again this is the word for tonight I believe a word that's gonna hold you accountable and when we look at when we say the word accountable accountable sometimes we look at it in a negative uh from a negative connotation or a negative aspect but I I also look at accountability from a positive uh standpoint right is somebody holding me accountable to who God called me to be and this is then this is what I love about the community too uh Q is sometimes the community sees stuff in you that you don't see and it takes the right community to call you for that you don't know yet right because there is a you that you don't know yet and the power of community is to call that you for that you can't see that you're wrestling with imposter syndrome you're caught up in paralysis analysis you caught up in all of this stuff not seeing yourself the right way got a low self-esteem and the right community can help you see you the right way wow and that's why it's important that you know we get in in in in the right community for and also for that just support and this is what I was thinking about too is like the right community can normalize who you are can normalize your gift to make you feel and to make you see that you're not a misfit see you know what that right there over there but there is a fit for you right and thank god thank god too I feel it that listen I feel it thank god that he made you miss that fit right oh my goodness come on that wasn't your personality that was god making you miss that fit so you became a misfit over there so you can find your right community and and and that's that's one of the reasons why when I joined um uncommon calling and it just it just made it right for me right I tell you know I you know most people you know I like I tell people um Pastor Darius of course is my mentor right and being able to understand my calling because I've had um you know people say oh you're supposed to be doing this or you're supposed to be doing that and you know this this this and it's like no my calling is uncommon yeah right you know what I'm saying and like you said getting in that community it can show you the difference than you know what other people are trying to put on you you know that's right because you know you'll be introduced to a new you somebody that that you that you never knew you had in you right look we rhyme tonight we look it's that it's that power of community and I think that what you are doing is you are forcing people to find their community right right forcing people to find their community to find their tribe because you only thrive in your tribe right right exactly exactly that is that is so true you and and I'm telling y'all when I got um when that when I got in the den I was like ooh it's people that exist like this like I never really paid that an attention that it is you know how important it was because of course you know when you grow up around in church and I've been in church my whole life my you know my grandmother missionary my aunt and all them missionaries my brother I got I got four siblings that got their own church okay and so you know it's it's it's like okay inevitable that I would be like in you know falling in line and all that good stuff but you know when I found when I actually found out the outside that it is people that exist like that it was it was you know um amazing for me like it literally took me like it was kind of overwhelming because at first I was like who is this person?
Invest In Yourself While You Wait
SPEAKER_04Why is he reading my brain I don't understand what's going on what is and it was like that but one of the things that really really um I had to do is I had to learn more about it get that education um invest in myself um and and say okay you know what this is what I need to do to be able to help me change the way that God wants me to change so could you just tell how important investing and learning and the per in in in the personal development is that can help you when it's time to move to that next level yes uh one of the most important investments you can make is in you yes you know we spend we spend money investing in everything else except us right one of the most powerful fundamental important investments you can make is in yourself and and um and to do what we're called to do and to operate and operate in our purpose I think it calls for us to always remain in the posture of a student right which means that we should always remain in the posture that we're willing to learn because we don't know it all and I think that you need to put yourself in a position as a matter of fact I am doing what I call and I'm intentional about this queue I'm doing what I call radical reimersion okay and so that's me going back over some of the books I've read that's me going back over some of the um some of the topics that I've been working on that's me assessing and diagnosing my deficiencies and so every day I'm spending 30 minutes to hour of radical reemergence so Monday I'm reading books on preaching and communication Tuesday I'm reading books on scripture Wednesday um I'm I'm reading some on wellness wellness with my body health Thursday and then Friday I'm doing you know I'm doing finances and relationships so it is me knowing one it is me knowing that I don't know everything and then it's two it's equipping myself because this is this is this is what we this is what we do this is the tendency we have we want people to call us before we get ready well I might get up and run because you got here what I said we want people to call us before we get ready and then when they call us then that's when we try to prepare you know I I I remember when I when I transitioned when I transitioned out of a senior um pastoring uh three years uh um three years ago to come to be a part of the apostolic uh team at uh change I remember god had me in a season of waiting and um and rather than preparing rather than sharpening my tools rather than educating myself I was complaining and when I came out of that season of waiting and people were calling on me and people were pulling on me in a way that I had to prepare for that I should have prepared for while I was waiting wow and this is what the Holy Ghost told me don't waste your weight if God has you in a season of isolation and waiting what are you doing in that season I remember Bishop TBJ said as I was at the conference he had he said hey when a chef looks for a knife he looks for the sharpest one in the drawer he don't get a dull one in sharpening you know what I'm gonna let you have it like you know what go on go get your Bible for each I want I want to help somebody tonight because we mad at God because God ain't using us but God say why am I going to use a dull knife when I got several sharp ones in front of you wow wow my God you want God to use you and he's giving you time to get sharp right but you refuse the educating you refuse um you know uh uh uh investing in yourself and let's be let's be real you know you ain't gotta back in the day you had to go to school we you have to go to school we we hey we didn't have Google we was on the A you know that's what we were on you know the one in the closest listen we can't get my A's past now I'm talking about the telephone with a cord I was talking about this I'm saying I'm talking about we had the telephone with a cord up that cord had a I think if we had a hundred feet cord and we drove around the house made sure mom and dad could I'm like yo so no but like you got uh Dr.
SPEAKER_03Chat GPT you got uh Dr.
SPEAKER_04Google you got all of this information right there's really no excuse for you not educating yourself that is you know I was telling my kids the other day and and and I'm looking at matha stories right now she didn't know what it was and I said I said it's a book that gives you the synonym and the anonym you have to go in and get overwork and I was telling her I was like look when we had to write papers we had to go to the library and get this stuff and go and go and get the number of the book and go go down the aisle or catalog they'll know what it is they'll know they'll know your draw and script through the bag and pick it up and and the come away yeah you know and I tell people education looks so different now when especially when you got it at your fingertips. That's right literally you know literally at your fingertips my my 13 year old daughter is she know more politics than I ever known at 13. I'm like how do you know all this stuff is because of what the social media offers right she knows about that it to the point where she's like oh I want to go in politics you know and it's like you know for for me education you know it didn't come but I had to stay persistent at being able to get it um and that right there is what shaped my character because I had to stay persistent and um and so one of the things that I want you to talk about is the persistence of you know being able to stay in that no and being able to get the knowledge that you need and how persistent you have to be in order to shape that character that you are.
Persistence And Fighting For Promises
SPEAKER_04Yeah that's good that's that's a great question um and I think it is especially relevant um in a society that has normalized what I call convenient Christianity and microwave uh microwave results my guy right you know we in a society that wanted quick now and in a hurry and so what we're talking about now is really countercultural it goes against the culture it goes against everything that this fast paced life um is teaching us and um and and in and and it's consistent throughout scripture that the promises of God are often on the other side of pursuit like you have to go after it and for those of for those of us who are of you those specifically in the faith I I think we have to quit telling ourselves that the promises and problems of God are problem and fight for oh my god did I call you yesterday and tell you that you did not we this is our first time talking this is our first time Joshua if we look at the book of Joshua if we know the book of Joshua it talks about the children of Israel God has um delivered the children out of Egypt and they have come through the Red Sea they were sitting on the bank of the Jordan River which they had to cross in the uh over into the promised land and there were seven nation states that the children of Israel had to fight right they were already in the land occupying the promise that God was going to give them listen what God said God say I've already given it to you but you still got to fight for right wow you still gotta pursue it you still have to persevere through some stuff and I think when you when you talk about perseverance and when you're talking about waiting you you you have to uh you know reframe some of the things we encounter while we're pursuing or even while we're waiting and we hear it all the time and it's true a delay is not a deny it may be no it may be not now it may be hey yes but you're not quite ready yet so let me let me let me let me do what I did to David let me anoint you to let you know hey there's a king in you but then let me send you back out into the sh in into the what we call the Mississippi the pasture to process and to develop so your calling can catch up to your character Lord have mercy and sometimes perseverance thank you thank you it is not God punishing us is the reframe again but perseverance is God putting you through a process that's one that's protective to make sure you don't get something before you're ready so it's it's protective and then I also think it's purgatory it is preparing you so when you get there you can stay there yeah and so we have to go against this notion now God God does things quickly he does things suddenly but that's God's prerogative he doesn't always do things suddenly people don't understand that they feel they feel like that God is always going to do it as quick like you know quick fast in a hurry and um you know when I said you did I talk to you because I was literally thinking about that the other day where I was like oh it's supposed to be easy you know I thought everything since we were child of God I had I had to really realize it no we have to fight for this you know and for you to drop that you know um about um how we have to be persistent God said it's ours but we still have to like go after it we still have to pursue it we still have to make sure that you know um we like they say secure the bag you know what I'm saying like you got to and one of the things that that that in a recent season that God had to reveal to me is just because it's God doesn't mean it's going to be easy.
SPEAKER_03Right right listen listen show me in scripture where God and easy occupied the same space well don't worry I'll wait little I'll wait now let don't get me wrong now I think you know you know I heard somebody said faith doesn't make it easy it make it doable right and right God doesn't it's the best but it don't always make it easy come on out it wasn't easy for uh Abraham to sacrifice potentially sacrifice his son how in the 12th chapter Genesis listen listen God told abram to get out of your country get away from your family your kids all places of familiarity and this is what we miss he said I ain't gonna tell you where to go but go to a place I'm gonna show you you just got to get out you got to leave you got to just move you just got to get out and listen I just I just I just saw this and I just saw this and I just saw this in the new light is the reason that God is not speaking to some of us because we refuse to get out Lord you got you got me wanting to get up and run.
When God Removes What Seemed Good
SPEAKER_03People don't want to move they don't want to move they don't want to get out they don't want to leave they don't want to leave what they think for what God wants them to have Hell. And this is one of I I think it's Psalms 84 and 11. I love it. I love it. It said no good thing with God withhold from them to walk upright. I think that's eight of Psalm 84 and 11. And this is and this is how I this is how I I I frame that or reframe it. This is how I put my deadly logic on it. Now if God won't withhold a good thing from you, what makes you think he'll take a good thing from? Right. Right. And if he took what you thought was good, it may be an indication that it wasn't as good as you thought.
SPEAKER_04You know what? Where the collection played in. But how good was it if he took it?
SPEAKER_03Come on. Yeah, how good was it? Like, if you thought that was good, just wait until God give you what he knows what is good. That's so good. Come on now. We we crying over stuff like if we thought was good and God said, wait a minute, I'm I'm trying to get you what good, I'm trying to get you to the good, I'm trying to position you for the good. I wouldn't take anything that that that wasn't good for you, but sometimes God has to show us for us to He has to train our our our our good uh discernment uh ability.
SPEAKER_04Right, right.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'm discerning you. I I gotta work on your discernment for you to discern what's really good and who really good because your good discernment is off.
SPEAKER_04Y'all need to turn that in chat. Your good discernment is off.
SPEAKER_03That's why you need community. We back on community. That's why you need community to tell you that your discernment is off, your thinking is off, your behavior is off, your mindset is off.
SPEAKER_04My god, my god, that you know, and that right there, you know, we have to often get to that point where we understand that God is taking those good things, I mean those things that we thought was good is not good. So, you know, what was that moment when you when you understood that okay, God, this is where you are doing, this is what you're doing. Um, and I am understanding it, how you have presented it to me now. How did that look for you?
SPEAKER_03It it you know what? That's a good, that's a great question. That's a great question. And I I would say uh I would give you an astute answer, but it was on the other side of me, probably uh throwing a Peter Part. It was probably on the other side of me complaining, right, and realizing where you complain, you remain.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03It was on the other side, it was on the other side of God teaching me even through that. Like, hey, you got to, yeah, you that you you know that there's some there's some growth opportunity, even in responding, how you respond to the correction of God, right? How you respond to the word of God, how you respond, not listen, thank you, Holy Spirit. Because it's not always the correction of God, sometimes it's the challenge of God, it may be not it, you may not be doing anything wrong, but are you doing everything that's right?
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_03And that's and and and that's a recent lesson. Like, hey, every time God sends somebody who loves you to challenge you, that's not correction or punishment, that's that's really love. And the Bible tells us, even when God chastises us, whom the Lord chastises, He loves. So whether it's chastisement, whether it's correction, whether it's challenge, it's all an extension of God's love, right? Right, right, and I think that's on the other side of us not just praying it, but adopting the posture of it, not just praying for it, but God give me the posture to receive what I'm praying for.
Preparing Your Posture To Receive
SPEAKER_03Help me get in position mentally, emotionally, right, for what you but for for what I'm praying for. Because oftentimes I heard it said this way too, that God don't give you what you pray for, he gives you what you prepare for.
SPEAKER_04Look, that is oh my goodness, Lord. Continue. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_03So it is, I think it is, you know, it is it is it is getting to the place uh where we get to the man, like the man, um, is it Mark? I won't say Mark 9. They said, Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_03It is inviting God to help us in those areas. Lord help me. I I want to believe, Lord, help my unbelief, Lord. I want to do this, but you gotta help me. Yes, yes, being transparent uh and vulnerable with God. Like you can't be transparent and vulnerable with God, who can you be transparent and vulnerable? Right, right, you can do it with God, right?
SPEAKER_04And I and I I love how you you said that it was on the other side of your pity party because you know, like literally because I've I've had pity parties and I and and and and the thing about it, when you look at Jesus, that was what he was having. If you know, we he went to pray three times, like, okay, okay. And then he he said, you know, okay, not my will, but my will. You know, and and that's sometimes what we have to understand. A lot of people be like, oh, you a Christian, you ain't supposed to be like well, if you look at Jesus, he went and prayed three times to ask for that cup to be taken away, and and still he ended up doing what God has called him to do, and that is what um fuels that excitement right there is that okay, you know what? Now I know um that God, this is on the other side of this, what's on the other side of this pity party. I got to be excited about this. And uh one of the things that I try to tell people is that the excitement is something that you want to keep going because it helps fuel you to that level, to that next level. And um, so when you know, when you got that passion and that excitement, how were you able to kind of keep that up, especially when you after that pity party, you just like, okay, so how were you able to keep that up after you, you know, went through what you went through?
Keeping Passion By Remembering Your Why
SPEAKER_03Now I see that's uh these are these are so these are such great questions. I, you know, first of all, you know, want to normalize being holy and human because Jesus was the perfect picture of what it meant to be holy and what it meant to be human. Right, right. He was, you know, um, he was human enough to cry when Lazarus died, but he was holy enough to get him up.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he was he was he was holy enough to get on the cross, but he was human enough to forgive, to offer forgiveness. And so what I want to do is I want to normalize, like, you know, that PD talks about second way and third way Christianity. I think second way Christianity is being human, but but acting human, but telling other folk you're holy.
SPEAKER_04Right, right.
SPEAKER_03So there's a misalignment, and I think what third way Christianity it is really operating from a human and a holy standpoint. So what I'm saying when I say the reason I'm saying that is like it's human to lose passion, it's human to be disappointed, right? It's human to be discouraged, and sometimes we feel like disappointment, discouragement, and a loss of and a loss of passion is a lack of faith. No, that's not a lack of faith, that's you being human, right, right, right. So, you know, you know, we visit these places, but just let's not stay there. Let's not, you know, let's not, let's not, let's not build a residence there. And so one of the things that keeps me passionate is always remembering my why. And then too, I said this, I said this, you know, I say this all the time. It still blows my mind. I've been doing this, man. I've been doing this almost long as I've been alive. Wow. Yeah, I've been doing this, you know. I started, you know, 19. I told God, yes, at 19. And I've been running ever since the ups and downs, the good and the bad.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_03But one of the things I've never allowed myself to allow God using me to become every time God uses me, I say, Lord, what am I that you are mindful of? That you use me and that you'll speak through me. Who am I, God, that you will use me to be a blessing to somebody else? And those times I get discouraged, those times, hey, hey, if you know, sometimes we hit those uh those Jeremiah seasons, right? Right. Like we just wanted what we do, like Jeremiah said, hey, I wanted to throw in the child, I wanted to quit. I told the Lord I wasn't gonna do it no more, right? Yeah, but it was saying it was just like fire, it was something on the inside of me, it was something that was compelling and constraining me that I couldn't give up, right? Right, and I think that when we go through those seasons, we have to remember our why, yes, remember the why, like God, what God called you to do, the lives that God called you to impact, the people who are waiting on you to get in position, right? The people who are waiting on you to walk in the fullness of your calling, the the the village that's waiting on your voice, the crowd that's waiting on your calling, the people that's waiting on your purpose, remembering that should strike a match, should light a flame, should fan those those those flames of passion, and you have to constantly fan those flames because you know you know it's it's like a candle, you know, when you light a candle around a kid or they constantly try trying to blow it out, right? Right, you got it, you got an enemy, you got life constantly trying to blow up, blow out your flight.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that's good. That that is so good. Oh my goodness, Lord have mercy.
SPEAKER_03So remembering your why, so remembering your why.
SPEAKER_04Lord have mercy. I don't even know if I can take it anymore. Let me tell you, mama.
SPEAKER_03I made it. Hey, I made it, mama. I made it.
SPEAKER_04I'm so um like, you know, I'm so full that, you know, everything that you, you know, have given today because it, you know, the thing about it is something that we really need in this time. You know, yesterday, uh like I before I even jumped on on yesterday, I had like an imposter syndrome to trying to come and tell me, like, who are you? You know, and I and I had to realize that what you what what you just said, you know, is somebody waiting on on me. It's some somebody waiting for me to get in position to to do this, you know. Um, PD always tell us we don't, you know, we we can't reach everybody, you know. If you try to reach everybody, you reach nobody. And the main thing about it is sticking to your why so you can reach that one person, you know, or you know, that that village that that needs you. That person that needs you to for your purpose. That's right. And and I'm so um, I'm so honored just to even have you on here. Like you you joking, but you like literally you you made it. I'm I'm honored. Look, let me call my mama and say, mama, he made it because I need the go do it.
SPEAKER_03So I'm honored.
SPEAKER_04So, you know, I just want you if you could just you know leave any final thoughts, um, you know, any advice that you would want to leave with someone uh tonight.
Final Charge, Where To Connect, Prayer
SPEAKER_04And um, if you want to let everybody know where they can reach the CEO, because he has encouraged my soul. And I know, I know if you follow him, you'll be able to get encouraged as well. So if you could just let everybody give advice and and then pray us out.
SPEAKER_03You know, this is one of the things I've been thinking of. Um that the Bible says that we were fearfully and wonderfully made, so you were made on purpose, in purpose for purpose. And um, God made you for such a time as this. I had one of my good friends say that the the the cosmos is in chaos, the world is in disarray. Um uh, it seems like there is more darkness than there is light. Right, but this is what God reminded me of, and I want to remind you that God didn't call you to complain, he called you to contribute. There's something in this season, there's something in this era, there's something that's going on in contemporary society that God um ordained you, that he formed you to bring light into, to bring clarity into, to bring your solution to it. And so if you were born in this time, you were born on purpose to contribute something in this time, and God is calling you for such a time as this. Come out of your imposter syndrome, stop being stuck with paralysis or analysis. There is a people that's waiting on you, there is a village that's waiting on your voice, and there is a crowd that's waiting on your calling. Remember, for such a time as this, God is raising you up.
SPEAKER_04Yes, yes, yes, I love it, I love it. Go ahead on the praise out and tell us where you can get you.
SPEAKER_03You can find me on all the social media platforms, Marcus Dudley, on Facebook, Instagram, and I'm trying to get like the young folk, you can find me on TikTok. And I got some exciting stuff coming up. I'm getting ready to launch my website. Um, also um, you can find um, you know, I'm you know, I'm opening myself up for speaking engagement. So if uh uh seminar, speaking engagement podcast, you can reach out to me on social media and uh we'll get back with you. But I'm excited uh in this season, I'm in excited uh that I was able to be a part of such uh a wonderful podcast today. And I'm just thanking God. I'm just praying that God breathes and blows on this podcast, that He will blow you uh to places and spaces that need to hear your voice. So, Heavenly Father, we're so grateful and thankful for this day, God. We are just thankful for who you are, God, for being such a good God, for being such a gracious God, for being a God who's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we may ask or think. And God, we pray tonight, God, that these words will encourage somebody's heart, God, that these words and uh this discussion, God, will lift up countenances, God, will uh inspire others to step into their calling to be who you have called them to be, God. Lord, I pray, God, that um that that that that people watching this, God, will receive healing, God. That people who watch this will receive breakthroughs and and they will experience overflow in their lives, God. Lord, I I pray, God, for Kiana right now, God. I thank you for her yes, God. I thank you for her uh stepping out on faith, God. Lord, I thank you for her doing it scared. I thank you for her doing it afraid, God. I I thank you, I thank you for allowing her to do it uh with not having all the clarity that she probably wanted to have before she did it, God. And so, God, I pray that you continue to bless the work of her hands, God. And again, God, I pray that you blow, God, that you breathe on this, God, that you give this podcast wings, God, that you give her more influence, God, because she said yes, and she's obedient to your word, God. And Lord, I thank you, God, uh, that you are raising us up for such a time as this. God, continue to bless us, continue to give us what we need to walk boldly and unapologetically in purpose, calling, and the anointing that you have assigned to our lives. God, we love you and we thank you. And this we offer in your son Jesus' name, amen and amen.
SPEAKER_04Lord, have mercy. I'm trying not to mess up my makeup. Oh my god, that's such a great message.
