Charting the Course: Bridgette Moody's Beacon of Faith and the Pen to Paper Tour for Visionary Growth

Quiana Jackson/Bridgette Moody/Hazel Thomas Season 3 Episode 6

Send us a text

As the sun sets on another day, I find myself reflecting on the powerful stories shared by Coach Bridgette, our esteemed guest, who took us on a journey through the birth of the "Pen to Paper" tour. From her 35 years in ministry and project management to the first workshop's inspiring launch in Arlington, Texas, we navigated the deep waters of spiritual guidance and the transformative power of faith. Bridgette's tales of challenges and triumphs are not just her own but also of those she has touched - from the energetic young entrepreneur to the senior rekindling a long-lost passion.

Our conversation turned to the importance of clarity in one's purpose, as evidenced by an executive assistant's transition into an entrepreneurial role. We discussed how vital it is to connect with your skills and purpose to successfully swim in the vast ocean of business. Bridgette's wealth of experience proved invaluable as we tackled topics like networking, government contracting, and the indispensable nature of a well-structured business approach. The upcoming Pen to Paper tour in Atlanta hosted by Hazel Thomas and myself, loomed on the horizon, promising to be an event that not only sells out but sparks the fire of potential in every attendee.

The penultimate moment of our discussion brought us to the crux of nurturing our visions, a process akin to parenting a child from birth to maturity. Bridgette's no-nonsense yet nurturing guidance is a beacon for anyone looking to hone their business prowess. As the countdown to our two-day conference in Dallas begins, we leave you, our dear listeners, with the anticipation of growth, the excitement of learning, and an open invitation to join us in transforming the seeds of your business visions into the fruits of success.

Speaker 1:

Music, music, music, hey, hey, hey, everyone, this is Kiana, your creator and your host of Q for Christ, and I want to say thank you, thank you to everyone that has liked, you shared, you commented, whatever you've done. I'm so excited and I'm so happy, and I don't take this kindly about being a vessel for Christ. This is something that I take very serious, okay. So, anyways, I just have to say thank you, thank you, thank you, okay. So, anyways, tonight I know you are used to me coming with a success on purpose with individuals, but tonight I have a special, special episode.

Speaker 1:

Tonight we are going to be talking about the new tour, the tour pen to paper that is coming up and we have. We have the lady herself Okay, we have the lady coach Bridget on here talking about what to expect, talking about where it came from, where it derived from, and I'm so excited also to be sharing the panel with the co-host that I am co-hosting it with, with Ms Hazel. I am going to let them come in their own way and let them introduce themselves. So, anyways, how are you all tonight?

Speaker 2:

Doing wonderful, doing wonderful. Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate being on your platform tonight.

Speaker 1:

I'm so elated, I'm so elated. So, anyways, what I want to do, I'm gonna go ahead on and say a quick prayer and then, when we come back after the prayer, we'll let Coach Bridget go into who she is and how Pants and Paper came about, and then we'll let Ms Hazel and I like to call her Ms Hazel, y'all, because she has just such a beautiful spirit and then we'll let Ms Hazel introduce herself as well.

Speaker 1:

So, anyways, we'll say a quick prayer. So, dear Heavenly Father, we come to you. First we want to say thank you, god, thank you for this time that you have carved out for us, god.

Speaker 1:

On tonight God, we just thank you for your presence that are going to be before us, god, god, we know that you are here and you're always going to be with us wherever we go, god, and so we thank you now, god, for just being who you are. God, we just thank you now for these beautiful ladies that you have sent my way, god. God, these ones that are going to change the world, god, these ones that are going to impact the world with what you have given them, god, and so we just thank you now, god, for what you're doing. God, we thank you now because we know you're blessing their families as they give their time. God, we thank you now because we know that you are backing up them, god, and so we thank you now for the representation that you have sent through them, god.

Speaker 1:

We know that you are hiding them behind the cross, so your word can get out there, god, and so we thank you now for what you're doing in their life. God, we thank you now for what this pen to paper is going to do and change other lives, god, and so we just thank you. We love you, we honor you, we cherish you. It's in Jesus name that I pray, amen, amen.

Speaker 2:

Amen, amen, amen Amen.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. So, anyways, I am so super excited to have both of you on here tonight. Like I said earlier, we are just going to kind of go into a little bit more details about what Pen to Paper is and how it came about and how it started and it came from. Actually, coach Bridget, I'm telling you she's a real coach. You guys Don't even think nothing of it. So she went through one of the best, okay. So, anyways, can you just go into a little detail about who you are, coach Bridget?

Speaker 2:

Absolutely Well. Again, thank you, kiana. I appreciate the opportunity to talk a little bit about pen to paper. It is something that has become near and dear to my heart, and so I'm gonna try to give um an abbreviated version of how this all came about.

Speaker 2:

So, from a perspective of a ministry, I've been in ministry 35 plus years, and when I first started as a consultant and I wasn't doing as much coaching, I was coaching, but not to the degree that I am today. But I started as a consultant and initially I was given the opportunity to work with the ministry, and when they called me to work with them, this was from a project management, so to speak, perspective, which that is my vocation, that I've worked in for many, many years in addition to ministry, and so it was my vein, it was what I enjoy doing. However, from a consultant perspective, I hadn't pursued it to the degree that I was called upon to work with this ministry. So when they called me, they had an event that was happening in July. They called me in March, so I had less than six months to really review what was happening, what they needed, and so, long story short, they have four projects in one. They had an initial project that was a bishop's confirmation, consecration service. That was happening. So that was an event all by itself. Your talent, you had to deal with travel, you had to deal with hotels, you had to deal with what was going to be happening. As far as the program was concerned, of course those kinds of services are always very detail-oriented. They're very precise, very timely. So that was a project all by itself. Just who was coming, who the dignitaries were, who all the guests were, who was seating where. So that was a project all by itself.

Speaker 2:

Then they had a 150 page plus commemorative program that was being curated for this particular event. So that required and this was back in the day when we didn't have Zoom and all of that, we had freeconferencecallcom and we had email, so go figure. So I had to come up with a plan of action of how I was going to make this work. And so you know I sat there and I was listening to all of this. So the 150 page commemorative program, so that meant I need a graphic designer. That information had to have an intake process. All that had to be curated. You know, the dimensions had to be precise, how it was sent in. If that wasn't the case, then it had to be prepared and the graphics had to be done all of that. And then there was information that had to go in there, the text and everything they had to, because that was a project.

Speaker 2:

Then we had two different receptions that they wanted to take place. There was a 500 plus person reception and then there that was for the general attendees, and then there was a 250 to 300 person reception that was the private reception for the bishop and his first lady and the first lady, so that was all the dignitaries, so forth and so on. And so when I got through listening to all of that, I said okay, okay, okay, yeah, we can do this. And then I got off the phone and I about just was out of breath because I was like what in the world have I done? And then I got off the phone and I just was out of breath because I was like what in the world have I done? I didn't have a team. All I had was their volunteer base, their ministry of health, and so I began to curate a process for what needed to happen to get that vision to manifestation. And so I set up calls, established who the point persons were for each one of their ministries, and then, in addition to those point persons, they had to have backup persons. So we established a cadence of calls, we had an email communication process that we put in place and I went to work. Long story short, I was able to complete that project all for those projects on time and within budget, and that was less than four months. At that time, it was clear to me what my gift was, and so, as I began to work with this ministry for 18 plus months, people within that ministry began to come to me and ask me about opportunities on individual basis, because at this point, I was basically just working with ministries, with churches. So if it wasn't something along this line, it was something relative to ministry, of helps overhauling the ministry, of helps helping them to have roles and responsibilities and documentation, so forth and so on administrative type things. And I took a moment and I took a sabbatical.

Speaker 2:

This particular event happened in 2014. It was 2016 when this revelation came to me and I said, ok, god, something else is happening here and I'm not sure what it is, and so I took the opportunity. I said I'm going to go to a city I've never been to, took four or five days and went to Denver, colorado. At that time I'd never been to Denver got online, found a ticket for $88 round trip. I said, ok, this is it, this is God for real. So I grabbed the ticket, got me a lodging, got a hotel and I went to Denver and I just took in the scenery. I would get on the train, go downtown, so forth and so on. Two days in, a friend of mine came and joined me for those last two days. But those first couple of days I just took some time to just really pray and seek God. And so, as God would talk to me, I would just write.

Speaker 2:

And so, as I was writing and trying to really get clarity about what was happening, what was taking place, I kept getting package of passion. Package of passion. I'm like, okay, that's good, but what does that mean, you know? And so, as I continued to write, I continued to write and I began to curate, you know. And so, as I continued to write, I continued to write and I began to curate. You know, some things. And things started to come to me. And what came to me was pen to paper, because I was writing all of this down. I was curating a process, but I was curating that process and that vision was getting documented by me writing. So I was writing the vision, I was putting pen to paper and all of this came out of this simple exercise. However, it was an exercise that was powerful because it was helping me to connect with that vision. It was helping me to fill in the gaps that were cloudy in my head. So it was clutter in my head, but the more I began to write, the more clear I became, the more I began to grasp the vastness of what was happening and what was going on, and so I immediately, when I got back to the city, when I got back to Dallas, I got back and I began to really pursue what that would look like, what pen to paper would look like.

Speaker 2:

So it was early 2017. This was like September, october of 2016. So, 2017, I did my first workshop in Arlington, texas. The day I did the first pen to paper workshop, I had expressed to this particular client I had started working with, and I expressed to her. I said you know, it was in a salon that had like a teaching area, and so she said well, yeah, you can have it here and I'll host. So that's where the whole host thing came up. I mean, all of it just it was just organic.

Speaker 2:

And so that particular Sunday, a friend of mine who's a pastor, who's now deceased, an amazing young man I had gone to their service that Sunday because it was on the opposite side of town. So I live north Dallas and Arlington is southwest, and so I told my daughter I I said we'll go out here, go to worship and then have lunch. That way, we're on this side of town, you know. So we don't have to, you know, try to get through traffic and all that kind of thing before the workshop starts. So we went to church that Sunday morning, had an amazing time. After service he called me up and said, just kind of talk to us about the workshop that's happening today. So I did and shared it.

Speaker 2:

Now, mind you, before I got there on that Sunday morning, I had four people that were registered for the workshop online for it. We went to lunch, got to the venue. It was sold out. They had to. I think we had 40, some people.

Speaker 2:

And I'm going to have to pull those pictures, because I have pictures of the first Pinda Paper Workshop that took place in 2017 and it was in a salon and from that day to this I said, god, I can do it, because it just took that one time, you know, for me to know. And from that day to this there have been I mean, I have I've had them as young as 14 years old, and that first one I had a 14 year old. That it was amazing because I crochet and she was a crocheter and she wanted to start a crochet business, and I remember her being 14. And then there was somebody in there that was like 77 or something like that. So the range, it doesn't matter what the age is, vision is vision.

Speaker 2:

And so it was from that day to this that I've had a heart and a passion for it and I've continued to do it and it's been my lane and my vein for what I do. And so I began then to increase my will when it came to vision clarity coaching, because clarity is so important, and I say this all the time when you get clear, when that clarity is there, you become confident. When you become confident, you can then communicate better. When you can communicate better, you can then collaborate better, because if people are not clear about what you're doing and the fact that you have a heart and a passion for it and you know what you're doing, they're going to be confused, and confused buyers don't buy. So it was one of those things that I've just followed the plan of God for my life in this area over the years, and I've always said I told my son until God stops giving me, you know, innovation and creativity for it, I'm going to keep doing it because I've seen so many people find purpose, understand their clarity and understand their purpose and begin to walk in it and understand how to really tap into it, all across the country.

Speaker 2:

The first year I went to Vegas, it sold out, the workshop sold out, we ran out of room and I've gone back to Vegas every year since then and since that time, I began to work with foster kids, teenagers, helping them to have clarity, giving them hope, to have vision and what that looks like, and so it's just been an amazing, amazing opportunity. But that's how Pen to Paper was birthed, that's how it started, and the very first year 2017, I actually did a tour, and I did it in several cities. Like I said, las Vegas, I did Nashville, tennessee, I've done Memphis, tennessee, we've been in Philadelphia, pennsylvania, and so we've. We've been in a lot of cities across the country and I've met some amazing people and people's visions have come to manifestation and people have written books, they've started businesses, they've launched organizations, and so I'm just excited about the opportunity that I get to help people get from revelation to manifestation and from vision to reality.

Speaker 1:

I love that. I do. I do Because you know, I preach that, you know writing the vision, making it plain, and I also tell people you have to internalize it, meaning that you have to be.

Speaker 1:

It has to be clear in your soul, in order for you to run with it, Because a lot of people they look at that scripture and they say, oh, you got to write it down and yeah, you got to write it down, but you have to. You have to make sure that you have it in your soul where you can go with it, Because like you said, if it's clear enough to you, it'll be clear, You'll have confidence and it'll be clear to others. You know a lot of people don't? They don't want to go with somebody that don't know what they're doing. Yeah, absolutely, Absolutely.

Speaker 2:

You know and then writing it down. What are you writing? Right? Because you know the thing of it is what. What are you writing? Right? Because you know the thing of it is what are you writing? So, here again, there's a system and a process to what I do and, for those that have now come aboard, my team, so it's one thing to write it down, but what are you writing down and what is it you're trying to get clear about?

Speaker 2:

You know, because sometimes it's people have so many things. You know that you're trying to do 12 things and you can't do 12 things effectively. You got to do one at a time, and so the scripture says write the vision, make it plain upon heaven, so he that read it can run with it. So when they read it, they can't be reading 25 different things. They need to be reading one thing for which you're clear about, and that it has a process and a flow and it has a right to left, kind of thing. So when you're reading, it makes sense, right? Um? And so it should appear like a billboard. It just should stand out that this is something that I can attach myself to.

Speaker 1:

So that's the, that's the thing that's important about it right, yes, yeah, and I'm so good and, like I said earlier, I am one of the whole the. I say co-hosts because this is your idea and I'm excited just to be tagging along, you know.

Speaker 2:

We're glad to have you. Absolutely, it takes all of us.

Speaker 1:

We is better than me. So you know, I wanted to give Ms Hazel a chance to, because me and her are both going to tackle this city, atlanta and I just moved here, so I'm still trying to figure out, but I'm going to do it to the best of my ability. So, ms Hazel, can you just let everyone know who you are and what you're doing, because you have written down something, you have your vision going and I just want people to know what Ms Hazel is doing.

Speaker 3:

Well, I am part of Coach Bridget's vision room, which is absolutely amazing as well, and that has actually brought me clarity. Well, and that actually brought me clarity because in the beginning everything was so muddled and so confused that I couldn't how do you say, see the forest for the trees. So it took me a while mapping things out and some things were not as clear. But in continual showing up and, you know, having dialogue with both widgets, it's a continual thing, but we all have the ability and we all have the gift in us is a matter of bringing it out and making it clear and simple, like about two sets of vision making it plain because it was not playing like what Bridget said, it's not going to make sense to anyone but you and you cannot do that yourself either. Right, I love the opportunity to co-host with you, to feed into what Co-Bridges has, and I'm excited about it.

Speaker 3:

But for me, by nature or by my craft, I've been an assistant, an executive assistant, for 20 plus years managing all C-suite individuals, and it's second nature, so that, like you, I just moved here. I've been existing three years, so I'm thinking new to the thing and it's an amazing opportunity to do this. But part of my vision is actually doing virtual assistance, which is beginning to pivot, because what I thought it was going to be is turning into something bigger, because it's going to be agency for me, that's the end all. So I'm getting in that direction, which is going to be. It's going to be a treat when it's said and done, but it's for owners, entrepreneurs, um, you know, mom and pop, so to speak. These days is it still mom and pop, but small businesses?

Speaker 3:

for some, yeah yeah, you know who cannot afford to do the administrative side of everything and they don't have that kind of like everything is still paper. We don't do paper anything. They're not. Everything is an online and they don't have the online presence. So that's what they need. So it's it's just a lot and I love it. And post-pollination has helped me to come to that revelation, making super clear of what it's actually going to look like.

Speaker 1:

So yes, I love that. I love that and I love how you say it is pivoting and getting bigger. One thing that we think that we be thinking something smaller and God is like no, let me show you something that, like it says in Ephesians 3 and 20. Now unto him.

Speaker 1:

Now unto him. So we have to know that sometimes our thoughts be like okay, on a smaller scale. I know me. I've just been like, oh, I'm just going to do my little podcast, but it ain't a little podcast, it's something that God want for you know, for the world. I'm like, ok, you know. And so one thing I do is you know the acronym, I go about the acronym and you kind of went hit on what quicken you to do it. So what, who did you have to unite with when it came to? You know you're doing it in different tours, I mean doing it in different cities, like, were there anybody that you just was like you know what? Let me call this person and say, all right, who I need to talk to.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know, for me I've always been a connector, a collaborator, and so I was a part of this group during that time. It was my covering at that time because I was in East Texas and I actually just did a graphic, put it out there and this person had been talking to me and they had been a part of something that I had been doing and believed in me and what it was that God had given me to do. And there was a person that just took that chance to say, hey, I want to host. And the first person was outside of the person who did it in the Dallas area. She was in Las Vegas, and so when Las Vegas did it, it took off from there. So somebody from Las Vegas, a person that came to the Las Vegas workshop, lived in Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. That's how I got to Philadelphia. And then someone that was hosting in East Texas, in Texarkana, texas. There were people who came to the first conference there, and so some of those persons actually were hosts in Nashville and other cities. So that's kind of how it just you know, and I just put it out there, if you'd like to be a host and host a pen to paper in your area, and so that's kind of how it started. You know, I had that first conference and it just went from there and once people had the experience, and that's the whole thing. It's like everyone who was at the November 2023 Tender Paper just a few months back have excelled tremendously.

Speaker 2:

When I say tremendously, it has been ultimately a God thing. I mean, I had nothing to do with what happened in the room and when I tell you, people had an experience that they can't even totally express to you what that is, because God is showing us that it takes more than us just having a zeal, but it requires us being clear, and that clarity requires a lot of different components than us just getting information from this person, that person and the other person. But what is it that I've given you to do? And when people can connect with that innate ability, they can connect with their vision and their purpose, and that's oftentimes difficult for people to do, because they're looking at what someone else is doing and how someone else is making money or how someone else is being profitable.

Speaker 2:

When we totally disregard what's right under our noses, there's a reason for which you were born to do a thing and you got to tap into what that is.

Speaker 2:

And when you can tap into what that is and understand what that lane is and drive that lane, there's no stopping you, because you have the energy for that, you have the wherewithal to do that, because that's what you were created to do, and then you add those other components with it. But when you can connect with that, it's no stopping you. You do the thing that is most in general, and this is this is I've never seen anybody, not but the thing that you do with the least amount of effort, that you don't have to think twice about how to do it and what to do. It comes second nature to you. That's the thing that you could be profitable with and nine times out of ten, that's what's connected to your vision and your purpose and calling for life right right and and you know, and that's the, that's the thing that we have to realize you know we have to be able to, to connect things together.

Speaker 1:

You know, you know, and to think about it. Some people don't realize that that's how you got. It's a, it's a, it's a plan. You know, you know. Some people think you can skip steps. You cannot, you know, can't skip those steps. You have to start from the beginning.

Speaker 2:

And it's not that you can't do other things, because you can. There are other things that I do. There are other things that I feel like. I'm relatively good at, but that's not my purpose in college, exactly.

Speaker 1:

Exactly. You know, pastor Daniels always talk about being. You have so many gifts, but you got to give your gift, whatever God want you to give to the world.

Speaker 1:

That's the main thing right there, because I know me, I can sing, I can do a whole bunch of other stuff but God don't pivoted me to something totally different and I'm like like I don't want to talk in front of people, but he got. This is where he at, so I'm so excited. Now, one thing I wanted to ask you what kind of education can people look forward to when they come to the pen, to paper tour?

Speaker 2:

that you're having. Oh well, this is the thing I'm most excited about. So not only do you get you know, so with me you're going to get project management, organizational management, change management, you management self-management.

Speaker 2:

So all of those things are rolled up into the whole vision piece, because these are elements that are important, because if you can't manage you, you don't have self-awareness. It's going to be difficult for you to get this other piece together and you're going to get vision management. So all of that's wrapped up into the piece that I do. But then you're going to get networking and how to tell your story. So you know, you got to be able to articulate this vision. That's key and important. And then you got to be able to know how to network with people in order to get yourself out there and get your vision out there right. Then next you're going to learn about marketing. You know how to market yourself, what are the key elements to marketing and it's not often what people think it is and that there are a lot of myths about it and so learning what social media is, what it's not, and what are some of the main elements for helping you to go forward. People writing books every day, starting businesses, but if they don't have the marketing piece down, it's difficult and they struggle, and this happens with a lot of aspiring and new entrepreneurs, small businesses, and so how to do that on a budget. So that's something you're going to learn. Not only that, you're going to learn fashion and image. Consulting is going to be a part of this, because you need to know how to show up. You need to know how to show up. You want to dress the way you want to be addressed, and so you want to know how to show up when it's time for you to present your business, your ideal, your vision, x Y Z to whomever you want to make sure that you show up, you're talking right, you're looking right and you're doing it right.

Speaker 2:

Okay, and then the other thing we're going to be talking about on the tour is government contracting. That is the opportunity that we have as minorities, as minority business owners, women business owners, and the billions I said as in boy, and the billions I said as in boy billions of dollars that are available to us that we can tap into. We just don't know what we don't know, and you got to be educated on how to do that, and it's not as difficult as you seen and government is not a bad word and the fact that we can get into this system and we can get just I mean, just recently, the coach that is going to be on this tour had a client that was awarded a $100 million contract Wow, just recent days. And so she is the truth. I mean, she knows her stuff. And not only that God is adding people to my vision room and visionaries that are coming in that are well-versed in some areas, and so it's just a God thing. I'm excited about how he is connecting the dots. I'm telling you, when you tap into this, you're tapping into something on a different level when it comes to opening your mind up to how you can move forward and how you can be profitable as a business owner. I'm not saying the other information out here that we get is not good, because it is, but you have to know how to apply it to you and how it works for you, because if you don't, you miss all these other opportunities that are out there, and so you too can become a government contractor. I'm currently a government contractor. I'm working on those additional certifications so that I can get the perks for being a minority and for being a minority woman-owned business, so that gives me a shoe up in getting those contracts awarded to me.

Speaker 2:

So here again, it's an opportunity for us to gain traction, and not only that not only be a blessing to ourselves, but be a blessing to other people, because you may have the opportunity, as I did, to be a prime contractor, which gives me the opportunity to get subcontracts for other people. And be a blessing to other people because you may have the opportunity, as I did, to be a prime contractor, which gives me the opportunity to get subcontracts for other people and be a blessing to them and help them to move their businesses along. So we don't want to stay in this place where we're just doing business any kind of way. We talk about structure, we talk about liabilities and how you need to have your business set up. You don't want to be doing business with Venmo, apple Pay and Cash App. We talk to you about the real elements and structure of having a viable business and what that looks like. I teach it in my vision room, and not only that. We'll be teaching some of these components on the tour and we'll definitely be going into more depth at the conference which happens November 1st and 2nd in Dallas, texas. So this tour is just giving you a taste, an appetizer, a teaser for what's going to happen in November.

Speaker 2:

We have a two-day conference in November Friday and a Saturday and so we have that team goes into depth. We have a keynote speaker, which is going to really be amazing. The vision of a man is going to be awesome and our men, people are starting to really catch on to this and they're beginning to really tap in and become a part of the vision room, becoming a part of pen to paper, and it never fails. Every year there are people who stay over and go to Church of the Potter's House with me on that Sunday morning and the last two consecutive years, bishop has tapped into everything that we've talked about in the conference the two days prior, and so it's just been great confirmation.

Speaker 2:

I didn't have to say anything. It was like we just told you about that. Oh, you just said it. And so it is an amazing, amazing opportunity and God is just doing some amazing. So we're just being obedient to the call, and so I'm so thankful for this team and the education that they bring, the insight that they bring and the vast array of knowledge that is a part of this team. So it's going to be amazing. So I tell people all the time, tell Lottie, dottie and everybody that you want to make sure that you get registered to be a part of the pen to paper workshop tour that's canvassing the country. So when we stop in Atlanta, look, we want to let the people know we were in Atlanta Now look, we're going to leave a mark.

Speaker 1:

Okay, because that's right, absolutely.

Speaker 2:

We want every seat filled.

Speaker 1:

Every seat, and I know it is.

Speaker 2:

God is going to do some amazing thing with this, this one being it's the first tour, it's the first one on the tour, right, yeah, it's the first stop on the tour Atlanta and then we go to the Northeast, close to the DMV area, and so Virginia will be the second stop, and it's that next week. So we're looking forward. And this is the other thing I want to share, kiana, is that you know, the team is just excited and all of them have my heart and culture, and so we take the time to do quick consults with people, you know, because we understand a lot of times people have questions about this specific area of expertise or business or vision, and so we take time after the workshop. So we don't do the workshop and run out. We take time and we make sure that we have adequate time, in whatever space we're in, to spend some time with those attendees so they get the full benefit.

Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, your registration is a well-spent investment. Every workshop across the country is $97. If we make it to the last week, it's $129 per person, but I don't think we're going to make it to the last week in any city, so it's likely going to be sold out. So what you don't want to do is what we typically do as a people, and that's wait to the ninth hour. You don't want to wait, because if you wait you just may not get in. And this is in-person only. It will be no virtual options. So all of these workshops are in-person only workshops, because that's just how intense they are and we handle our business and we take people's time serious, and so we give you the goods for those four hours, you get it.

Speaker 2:

So it's 10 am, 2 pm in every city and every time zone, and so we go in and we pour in and we pour out.

Speaker 1:

That's. That's that's what I'm talking about, because I was thinking about what you said about you, that you teach people how to dress. You know, and I did, I did. I think I did a video the other day about dress for the part you know where you're going is where you. You need to look like you're going that place. Look like you're going that place. You don't want to walk in, you know, and be dressing like you're going to a basketball game when you're trying to go to a business meeting.

Speaker 3:

It don't work. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

You want to make sure you are looking like where you're going. That's the main thing you know, and I talk about how great it is to understand all of these. This because of the simple fact that you know, you want to be able to understand, and when you get the education, you understand a lot more.

Speaker 1:

And then, you get excited and get determined to do this, and so you know, I didn't know. You know, one thing that I do, you know with my acronym is you know is quick and united, educated, understanding, excited and determined. So when you get all of that, like Coach Bridget said, you will get the knowledge on things which will clear up your understanding you know, so could you just talk about how important it is to understand all of this. That way you can get excited and get determined for where you're going.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely, absolutely. And there's always a synergy in the room and that's the collective wisdom of all of us, you know, with our combined contributions and what we bring to the table. And so there is a synergy that's always in the room and, even without intentionally trying to do it, we're bouncing off of each other and we're connecting and we're utilizing, you know, information that each other has shared and it divinely connects together. It's an amazing experience. It's an experience. That's all I like to. It's an experience and you have to experience, and once you've had a pen to paper experience, you know, you know what I mean and you know the difference.

Speaker 2:

So it's just not your average coming together. It's just not your average conference. There is, and you walk away with tools and resources and understanding and clarity to help you go to the next level. And I've seen so many people step into these aha moments and these realizations that when they first came, had no idea what their purpose was. And it's amazing. But there are a lot of people who are just living, they're just existing, they're not living. And when you know your vision, you begin to live, because you begin to take that with you every day and you do the thing that you endure doing every day, and so it becomes a place of living my life, as opposed to just existing yes, you know and that's, and you know.

Speaker 1:

We often say and I know we done heard it that the richest place is the cemetery absolutely because most people have their visions, have gone to the grave with them and they have not been able to write them. And they have not been able to fulfill what God has called them to do, because they have been, you know, having gotten the education or having gotten the training or things like that, and some people are so afraid of change.

Speaker 1:

I don't understand why people are just so afraid of change and they, they think that when you change, it's going to make everything different, but no, it's for the better, because we got to realize everything changes. Don't let them say the same.

Speaker 2:

And even if it's different. Different is good. You know, I wrote a book called Gift Aborted where I talked about the gift is carried but the purpose is never born and so many of us continue to miscarry. And continue to miscarry because we're looking at what somebody else is carrying and so we mess around and we don't support and we don't strengthen what we're carrying and when we do that, we we abort it, right, we miscarry it.

Speaker 2:

And so we continue to carry gifts but they're not the purpose. Keep carrying it, but it's never born, and so it's important that we understand what it is that God has given us, because what he's given you is just as important as what the other person is carrying, right? So if we will take the time to cultivate, nurture and really build and protect and you know, that's what happens when a woman is carrying a fetus in the womb and she doesn't really take the time to support, rest and make sure in that first trimester that she's really supporting her body, giving her body the vitamins and the nutrients it needs to build that body, to carry that extra person, to carry what's being pulled from her body. We do the same thing emotionally and intelligently, because if we don't take the time to build ourself up, we lose it. We don't read, if we don't study, if we don't pray, if we don't take the time to write that vision down, we're not supporting that and giving it the strength and the bones it needs to grow and to be nurtured.

Speaker 2:

And so when we do we don't do that and we don't cultivate that, it gets aborted, right, we miscarry, but then you got this other person over here. That stayed the course. Right, they continue to strengthen, and so they baby gets big, they birthed it, it goes on, they become, you know, you know, a hundred thousand dollar business or a million dollar business or whatever. And then you, looking like somebody did something with no baby. You didn't do your part because you were so busy looking at them carrying a baby that you wasn't carrying your baby and you allowed your baby to miscarry. So here's the thing we're giving you the bones, the good bones and the structure and the things you need to do the, the, the, the intelligent vitamins, right, the mental vitamins, the emotional vitamins to help you to nurture that gift and nurture that purpose, so that it is born and you don't continue to miscarry it. So you know what to do with it when that vision comes to manifestation.

Speaker 1:

Right. You got me crunk over here.

Speaker 2:

Like, I'm like okay listen it work if you work it. It works if you work it, and it may take some time, but it works. It's just like every baby is not necessarily a nine-month baby. Right, right, right. Some babies are early, some are right on time some are a week late, you know some of my first one was a little late.

Speaker 2:

I was like, look, it's time to come. You know, at the end of the day, everyone it's not, everything is not the same for every vision. Every guy is not. It's not born the same way. But if you do what you're supposed to do when it's supposed to come forth, it's coming forth. I love it. But what you don't want to do is you don't want to miscarry, you don't want to abort it. So I think that's key for people to really take in and analyze for themselves.

Speaker 1:

Personally, I love that. I'm going to be so totally and super honest. I love that analogy because, like you said, everybody is not born the same way. You got some people that are premature, but guess what? They still living. You know what I'm saying so, even if your vision is premature, it started out a certain like rough.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you still can nourish it and you still can get it to grow. Oh my God, I love it. That's a whole word. Some of us come briefs.

Speaker 2:

You know we feed first, we in the fire, we kick it, we doing but, and then you know, and then some of us come the way we supposed to, but it's all different. You know, in the nurturing process all of that is different. So we just have to know it's a whole. The whole thing is what is your vision now, somebody else's what's yours, and nurture that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, right, that's so good. And I wanted, miss hayley, I want you to kind of go into how excited that you are about, you know, doing this whole pencil paper tour. I mean, I know I'm excited and I'm determined to make sure that it is sold out. I'm determined to make sure that it is going to be just absolute. It's going to set the stage for the rest of them. So how excited are you about being co-host of this?

Speaker 3:

when, when coach Bridget asked, ok, I'll do it, I'll help. But then she said, kiana, I'm like perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect Because I know you from church. So I said I met her. I said it's going to be perfect Because you know Atlanta a little bit more than I do, but still we're still newbies at maneuvering around.

Speaker 3:

But, by the grace of God, this is going to be amazing and I know Coach Bridget from interacting with her, from being in the vision room and from what I've seen and from what I have gleaned from in the vision room and knowing pen to paper how it was and everyone talking about it, because I already signed up for 2024. My room is booked and I am in. So when I knew she was coming, I was like this is going to be. It's going to be fire in the chat, as they say. It's going to be amazing. Can't wait to actually experience it out loud.

Speaker 3:

That's why we're going to keep bombarding with social media or whatever right, but I think the amount of information that coach bridget is going to impart is going to be like no other. I can see that and she has so much wisdom and her the way that she is able to to. How do you say um with everyone that she's connected to and the collaborations that she's built over time? You can't. You can't get that at any place else. And the people I saw that she brought into clarity. Man, come on. No, no right, she is such a nurturer. Now she's a nurturer, but she's also no-nonsense. I'm not going to hold your hand. This is what you're going to do and this is what you're going to have to do, and I told Court Bridges this before Entrepreneurship is not for the weak. You see the end result of what everyone else has, but we don't know how they got there.

Speaker 2:

That's right.

Speaker 3:

Your back has got to be strong and you've got to be like a duck. The water's got to roll up Right. So, with that strength because I'm doing things I didn't think I could do, because a part of me is super spoiled, because I can't do anything know, everything is done for you in corporate, get a guy, that's just what it was, but when you come to reach yourself, it's a whole other kettle of fish. Yes, you don't know how are you going to run your business, how are you going to help your team when they can't figure it out? You have to be to jack all trades, but still your niche and what you can do is wonderful. But if you don't know how, you get someone who knows how but you still have to know how In the event that they may drop the ball then you know what to do. Absolutely, I'm waiting to throw out that pole and catch the fish. Throw the net out and we will pull all the fish in.

Speaker 2:

Yes, that's it On this boat here.

Speaker 3:

Anywho, yes, ma'am, yes, I'm like you.

Speaker 1:

I'm so excited because all the information that you were talking about, I was like dang, I didn't even know all of that Wait a minute, hold up were talking about. I was like dang, I didn't even know all of that. Wait a minute, hold up, cause I'm like. I'm literally excited about it because of the simple fact that I'm going to be able to implement more stuff to what I'm doing. You know, a lot of people, you know we. You have to always be learning. I don't care what nobody say, I'm always always always always.

Speaker 1:

Because whatever can help me out, I'm ready. So Absolutely.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. You know, one of the things that you know. I continue to say no shade to anybody else, but one of the things that I pride myself on, and we pride ourselves on within the paper, is that we just don't tell you how, we show you how, because it's important that, when you walk away, that you're not dependent on somebody else, and not only that, as you grow, you grow other people, because, at the end of the day, what God gives us is not just for us, it's for others, and so I'm clear about that, I'm totally clear about that, and I don't want, you know, there's some people. They set their structure up so that you can be dependent, because they want you to have to come back and pay for this and come back and pay for that. Well, no, that's not how it works, you know. That's not how I work, you know. And so when I'm with clients for long periods of time, it's for a reason that I'm with them for long periods of time, but it's not because they're dependent on me, because I not only tell you how, I show you that, and so and I think that's important because you need to be able to grow and go to the next level, right, and then you need to be able to take people that need what you do and help them to grow and go to the next level, and so there are a lot of opportunities out there that they they tell you, you know, they tell you how, but they don't show you how. So when you leave and you pay, you know fifteen hundred, two thousand, twenty five hundred, ten thousand, twenty thousand or whatever, and then you still got to pay someone to help you figure out how to do it, how to implement it.

Speaker 2:

I'm a one-stop shop. When you come to me, you don't have to have 12 people, right? So if you're coming to do a book, you're going to get your graphics, you're going to have a book in hand within 30 to 60 days, depending on where you come in at. And I don't tell you that because I just I'm just using numbers. I tell you that because it's a proven system and I work on a system, and so a part of understanding your vision is understanding what your structure is going to be, what your strategy is going to be and what your system is going to be. So this S3 model is the model that we're going to be talking about throughout this tour, and it works if you work it. So yeah, we don't just tell you how, we show you how.

Speaker 1:

I love that. I'm so super excited. I'm so super excited. Well, I'm not going to hold you all any longer because I want us to you know, be able to get this out here, because we want to make sure that everybody know that the pencil paper tour is here in atlanta. It is going to be here april 27th and so if you got any more advice, um, coach bridget, on um, what people need to do, let them know where they can go to get the get the ticket and um, and just pray us out.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely, yeah, absolutely, I'll be glad to do it. Absolutely, you need to go to BridgetMoodycom forward slash tour and you know, definitely you want to be on this inaugural location in Atlanta, georgia. That's the inaugural location for the tour starting out, and they will be hitting across the country, from the northeast to the west coast and back down to the southwest. So we're going to be panning the country. We're going to be doing 10 cities, so we definitely would love to see you in one of those cities, but we absolutely want to see you in Atlanta, georgia, april 27th, from 10 am to 2 pm, and we'll be there in the Duluth Georgia area, 3550 Ventura Parkway, and so we'll be there at the Courtyard Marriott. Meet us there. Matter of fact, beat us there. How about that? So go.

Speaker 2:

What you don't want to do is you don't want to wait till the ninth hour. So when you hear this, you need to be going to the website and grabbing your seat right now and, here again, bring somebody with you, don't go up, come by yourself. Make sure you bring somebody with you. And so we're looking forward to seeing you April 27th and we thank you for these amazing, amazing, thank these amazing hosts Hazel Thomas and Kiana Jackson. Thank you so much for being a part of this vision, for seeing yourself in the vision. That's what's important. You were able to see yourself being a part of it, and that's what we want to do, and we want to help others to make sure they can help others to see themselves in their visions. So that's what it's all about.

Speaker 2:

Let's pray, father God, we thank you for this time, we thank you for this hour, we thank you for this opportunity to come together, to collaborate and to communicate with others, and for those for which our voices, that are all under the sound of our voices tonight we pray, oh God, that something's been said or shared that's pricked their heart, pricked their mind, and it said to them this is something that I need to have in my life. This is something I need to be a part of. I have a vision. I'm unclear, I have clutter and I'm not sure what direction I'm going in.

Speaker 2:

And so, god, we're believing you that you're going to touch the people that need to be in the room on April 27th in Atlanta, georgia, and you're going to allow this opportunity to minister to their hearts and to teach them business principles that's going to help them to get from revelation to manifestation, from vision to reality. You're going to bring them clear on that decision. So we thank you now that it's a success. We thank you for these folks. We pray your favor beyond it. We pray your anointing fall fresh on it and from whichever way they come north, south, east or west, make sure, god, that those persons that need what you've given us that they be in the room on that day. We thank you now and we give you glory that it's already done In Jesus name, amen.

Speaker 1:

Amen, amen, amen. I'm so excited, I'm so excited. I want to say thank you again, coach Bridges. Yes, absolutely For even allowing me to tag along like I say Glad to have you absolutely. Oh, and I thank you, ms Hazel, for even just allowing me to tag along with you. So, um, it's going to be amazing NAMC.

Speaker 3:

Yes, april 27th, april 27th.

Speaker 1:
