Speaker 1:

Welcome to Cued for Christ. Thank you for tuning in. We are Cued for Christ, meaning that we are quickened, united, educated, understanding, excited and determined for what Christ has for us. We are here celebrating that we have gotten a second chance at getting life right. All right, get ready for the message. Hey, hey, hey, everyone.

Speaker 1:

This is Keanna, your creator and your host of Cued for Christ, and I want to first off say thank you, thank you to everyone that has liked, you shared, you commented, whatever you've done. I'm so excited and I'm so happy, I'm so thankful. I'm so thankful that you all have been patient with me, because I haven't put up a video in a while. But I have been sick. Like, oh my goodness, the enemy wants to put that little bug on me. And when I say, when I get sick, honey, trust me, my asthma want to get sick too. Okay, I can have my asthma controlled for a whole year and then next thing, you know, I want to mess up, but anyways, that's an easy here and there. I want to say thank you to those ones that pray for me, my family, my own kingdom, friends. Special shout out to Pastor Edwin Harris and to my sister in Christ, to Mika, donna, and my other sister in Christ Blossom oh, I'm so excited and my other sister in Christ, larisha. I thank you all because you all have been, you know, in my mind and you, I've been in your mind and you have sent me prayers and I'm so thankful to have kingdom friends and once they find out you seek, they say, okay, let me, let me see your prayer. Okay, they all send just a message, they send a prayer, and I'm so thankful for that. And, anyways, I didn't get a chance to say happy Thanksgiving. So happy Thanksgiving to all those ones. I know you had a good Thanksgiving and if you still eating on that Thanksgiving food, it's time to give it up. Okay, Because Thanksgiving was three, four days ago, so it's time to let it go. Hey, if we still eating on it, that means it's a really okay, because I'm not a left over type person. But anyways, I just want to say happy Thanksgiving, make sure that you are liking, you are sharing, you are commenting, so I can say thank you. It's Thanksgiving season, we are still here and we are going to be thankful, so I want to make sure I say thank you If you leave a comment, okay. So, anyways, I did not get a chance to say happy Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1:

So I want to get on here and do a little quick message, happy Thanksgiving message, you know, and it's not going to be long, I put this acronym together. God gave me this acronym If you know, I love acronyms because you know it helps us grow and so I put this acronym together for be thankful. All right, we want to make sure that we are being thankful in everything that God gave us, not just Thanksgiving season. Okay, we want to be thankful throughout the year, every day of our life. So if you, you know, can look at this acronym or look at this phrase be thankful, you can put together and you can say oh, my God, you know if I can keep this in mind, we do this over and over that we will always stay in that thankful mode, okay, that God wants us to stay in, because we have to be grateful for whatever God gives us. Everything he gives us is a privilege. We don't get that opportunity to just say, okay, you know, yeah, we don't, you know, we don't want to be entitled, thanks, we want to be grateful, thanks, all right. So, anyways, I put together an acronym for be thankful, all right, and I'm gonna. I'm gonna try to make this really quick because I, like I said, I didn't want to be want to hold you too long. So I just want to give you this quick acronym and I'm gonna give you a scripture to go with it. All right, so I'm gonna pray really quick before I do that. I just feel the need to pray because, whether you believe in that, yeah, I'm free. I do these videos pre, ahead of time. These are pre videos, but, to get nervous, I want to make sure that I go before the throne.

Speaker 1:

All right, dear Heavenly Father, I come to you. First. I want to say thank you, god. I thank you for this moment, this time and this opportunity that you have carved out for your people. God, I thank you now for allowing me to even be able to speak to your people. God, we know that the enemy is lurking, seeking whom he may devour God, but we know that you are hearing your there, god. God, we know that you are always with us, no matter what we do, no matter what's going on in our life. God, we just want to give your name the praise and the honor. God, god, I ask you to hide me behind the cross. Allow me to speak what needs to be spoken to your people, god, on this day. God, we thank you now for just being who you are. We know you are always seeking and always here. You're always looking out for us, and so we thank you now, god, for allowing me to speak. We thank you now for somebody to understand and get this word that I am going to give to your people. God, I ask you to hide me behind the cross and allow your word to be spoken. All right, I thank you, god, I love you and I give your name to praise and the honor. It's in Jesus' name that I pray. Amen, all right.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so, like I said, I am going to give you an acronym for Be Thankful.

Speaker 1:

All right, and it's gonna be really quick.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna give you a scripture to go with it and then I'll be out your way, okay, so the first one that God gave me is Beauty for Ashes, all right. So the letter V is Beauty for Ashes, and, as we know that we can always have those terrible things that we go through and our life may look like it's been burnt down, but God will always give us beauty for everything that we have endured, okay, and so the scripture that I have and a lot of these scriptures are going to be familiar. So the scripture that I have is Isaiah 61 and three. It says To grant to those who mourn in Zion, to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit, that they may be called Oaks of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified. And I'm gonna give you that in King James version because I know everybody's like, wait a minute, that is that with the same and that's, you know, for those real, real, real King James version readers. So I'm gonna read it in the King James version instead, to appoint unto them that mount in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called Trees of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. Okay, and, as you know, we know that God is gonna get the glory from everything, okay, so we know that once he take everything, he will take away that mourning he would give us, he would give us gladness, he would take away that faint spirit and give us a praise on our heart, okay. So we have to know that you know when you're thinking about being thankful. We know that God is gonna take all that pain away. He's gonna turn it into beautiful. He's gonna turn it into beauty, all right. Okay. So moving right along.

Speaker 1:

The next thing is we have to know that we have to give everything to God. Okay, we cannot hold that. We cannot hold the grudges, we cannot hold everything. We cannot allow the enemy to just take anything you know for us to hold it. We wanna give everything to God. The Bible says in James 4-7, submit yourself, therefore, to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and also in Ephesians 5 and 20, giving thanks always and for everything to God, the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. So we wanna give everything to him. Okay, I know that's easier said than done, but guess what, when you are a child of God, you can give it all to him. You can allow him to take that you know, all those ashes that's just like with the first one and give you beauty for ashes. So you wanna give him all the ashes. You don't wanna keep something of them? What you gonna keep something of them, for that's almost like what you gonna do with them Nothing. So you know, it's just. You know you wanna be able to give everything to God, okay, and so then the next one is to be thankful, which is so I mean? Well, we wanna thank God every day, all right?

Speaker 1:

The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians, 5 and 18, it says give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you, and we wanna make sure that we are giving everything that concerns us. All right, that's what it says in King James Version. But we wanna give everything that we want to give thanks in everything, everything that is going on. We don't wanna ever find ourselves not giving thanks, all right. So we have to be thankful and we have to give it every day. You know, one of those things that we can do is to thank God for life, health and strength.

Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, I've been thanking God all week for feeling better. I don't think y'all understand, I was feeling bad, but thank God. I thank God every day, every day that he has given me the peace, that he has given me my healing, he has given me the joy. He has given it to me. So I have to be thankful in all circumstances. Even when I was sick, I was telling God thank you for this, because he allowed me to rest, he allowed me to be downloaded some new information in me where I can be able to do what needs to be done. All right, so we don't have to worry about it. And so once we are being thankful, that makes us moving on, makes us be happy. Okay, we have to know that we can be happy and be glad because now we have been thankful, we have thanked him every day, so might as well be happy because you know God is gonna give it to you.

Speaker 1:

So the Bible says in Proverbs 15 and 13, a glad heart makes a cheerful face. But by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed. So if you are walking around with that sad face and not happy, then guess what your spirit is gonna feel, the same way that your face looks. Okay, I know you heard people say oh, you look how I feel and the thing about it. They looking happy, but you don't see it. You know what I'm saying. So you have to make sure that you have a glad heart because it makes your face be cheerful. And even though those people that say you look like how I look. They heart must be glad because they ain't looking that bad. Ooh, that right.

Speaker 1:

But the Bible says in Proverbs 17 and 22, a joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit drives up the bones. So you might as well be happy, you might as well have a joyful heart. Might as well go ahead and just be happy. I know it's easier said than done, because I know people be like ooh, I don't like happy for all the time and, trust me, I ain't happy all the time. All right, you can ask my children. They'd be like okay, wait a minute, hold up mommy, hold up, cute for Christ. But you know the thing about it you wanna be happy the majority of the time. That's what I'm saying. Happiness, happiness, okay, and, like I said, I'm trying to move through these fairly quicks, like get you outta here, all right.

Speaker 1:

So, and the next one is the A, which is acknowledge that God is the one that is doing everything. Okay, we have to know that God is the one that is making our way, he is the one that is going before us. Like the Bible says in Proverbs 3 and 6, in all your ways, acknowledge Him and he will make straight your path and he will open up those doors for you. So we have to be able to know. In order to stay in thankful mode, we have to be able to acknowledge the fact that God is doing everything in our life. We cannot take the credit for anything. All right, we don't want to. You know, we wanna know that God is the one that's doing it.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says in Matthew 6 and 33, but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So we know that we can acknowledge God, we know that we can tell Him what it is, because, you know, we thank Him every day. Well, going back, we, you know, we gave. We brought Him our ashes. We brought Him that and he is. He's gonna turn it into beauty. We gave Him everything. We didn't keep anything. We didn't keep none of the ashes. We didn't keep none of that. We gave it to Him. And then we turned around and thanked Him every day, because we know we can praise Him in advance. And then we're happy and then we acknowledge the fact that God is the one that is doing it.

Speaker 1:

You know the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 12 and 1, remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near, of which you will say I have no pleasure in them, because we know we don't have to worry about the days, about you. We don't have to worry about it because now we don't give it to God. Okay, so I'm moving right along and the end is we will never give in. And I know, like I said, I know that it's easier said than done, but we know that we cannot give in because we know that greater is in me, okay, greater is he that is in me. The Bible says in 1 John, 4 and 4, little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so we don't have to worry about that. So we don't have to never give in, you know, even in good time. You know we don't have to get weary, we don't have to give in. You know we have to know that God is always with us. You know he will guide us, he will lead us.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says in John 16, 13, when the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on His authority, but whatever he hears, he will speak and he will declare to you the things that are to come. So you don't have to worry, you don't have to give in, you don't have to. You know that. You know, don't ever give in, we will never give in.

Speaker 1:

And I know a lot of people try to say, oh, don't use the word never. Well, I ain't gonna never give in to God. Why would people bring up the word never if we can't use the word never? You know what I'm saying. So we, I will never give in to God. I mean to the end of me. I will never give in because I know that God is the one that is leading and guiding me. So I'm not gonna give in. I mean, you know.

Speaker 1:

So, anyways, we're moving right along, and the next one is to know that God is always there, he is always with you in those times of trouble. The Bible says, in Psalms 41 and 6, to the choir master of the sons of Korah, according to Alba, a song God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Okay, so we know that we don't have to worry, we know that we do not have to be afraid. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 31 and 6, be strong and courageous, do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord, your God, who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. So we know that God will always be there. We know that he is always gonna be with us. We don't have to fear at all. Like the Bible says in Isaiah 41 and 10, fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. So we know that God is going to be that one that is going to be with us always. Okay, we have to know this. This is something that you need to know, because we know that the Bible says though gay, though I walk through the valley, the shadow of death, I fear no evil because we know that God is with us. All right, so we know that he is with us always and we don't have to worry about that at all, because we don't have to be afraid. We don't have to be afraid of him. So, moving right along, we are going really well today, and so the next one is we have to know that we have our fam. Okay.

Speaker 1:

So, after we know that God is always with us, we always know that our family is with us. Okay, we know that we can have our family there with us. And so the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians, 5 and 11, therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing so. And we always know, like I said, ecclesiastes 4 and 9, two are better than one because they have a good reward for their toil. So we know our family is there.

Speaker 1:

We have to always stay thankful for our family, thankful for the ones that God give us, the ones that God has placed us with. The Bible says Proverbs 27 and 17, iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another. So our family is the one that completes us, the ones that we can be together because we have the same mind. Like Philippians 2 and 2 says complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Okay. So we know that being together, being in our family, you know that is one.

Speaker 1:

So, like I said, we have to go back. We know that thankful or be thankful can. We can be beauty for ashes. We know that we give everything to God, we know that we are thankful every day, we know that we are happy, we know that we can acknowledge God in all his ways. We know that we're never given up. We know that he is, we can know that he is always there, and then we know our family is there.

Speaker 1:

And then next you go to understanding that God, that without God it is impossible. Okay. The Bible says, of course, proverbs 3 and 5, trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding. So we understand that God without God it is impossible. All right, can you say that, yeah, I can't say it, type it in the chat, it is impossible, okay. But the Bible says in Proverbs 4 and 7, the beginning of wisdom is this get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. Okay. And we know that the Bible says in all you get, get understand. That's what it is. So we wanna understand that, god, that it is impossible to be thankful without God by our.

Speaker 1:

I don't see how you can be thankful if you it's hard to live a life that you know without God and say that you're thankful. I don't know so. But anyways, the last one is love God with all your heart. Okay, love Him with all your heart. The Bible says we love because he first loved us. That's in 1 John 4 and 19. We love because he first loved us. Okay, we have to know that we have to love God with our whole heart. We cannot, you know, be thankful without loving God, without it, it says.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says the 1 John 4, hey, anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. So you cannot have, you cannot be thankful, without saying that you don't love God. You know what I'm saying Without saying that you have to love God, or saying that you don't love God, you cannot be thankful. So you wanna make sure that you are loving God with your whole heart and not giving Him half of your heart. You wanna love God, you know. You wanna love God like how Christ did for us. The Bible says in Romans 5 and 8,. But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, christ died for us. So we wanna show the love that Christ gave for us. The Bible says in John 3, 16,. For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life or everlasting life. So we know that God is love. Right, that's all I wanted to say.

Speaker 1:

We have to make sure that we are thankful for what God is doing in our life. We have to make sure that we are thankful. We have to know that God can take the beauty for ashes and he will exchange with us. We know that we can give everything to God we can, and then we can be thankful every day and happy, and then we can acknowledge Him in all our ways and then we can never give up and know that he's always there and then always keep in mind that our family is there for us and we can understand what God is doing and then we can love like how he loves for us. All right, that's it. That's all I wanted to say.

Speaker 1:

I wanna say happy Thanksgiving again. I am going to say a quick prayer and then I am going to let you go. All right, dear Heavenly Father, I come to you first. I want to say thank you. Thank you for this opportunity to say thank you, god, god, we just thank you for the things that you have done for us. God, god, we just thank you for that moment that you have given us, god, to be able to come before you, god, to be able to be in your presence. God, god, we'll do anything to keep going, god, we won't allow anything to hinder us from being able to be in your presence. God, we just thank you for who you are on this day.

Speaker 1:

God, god, we know that if we can bring everything to you, god, we can give you these ashes that we have. We don't want to keep nothing, god. We want you to be able to restore us back to life. God, god, give us that beauty for the ashes. God, god, we thank you now for bringing everything to you and not holding anything back.

Speaker 1:

God, god, we want to be thankful. Every day, god, every day that we come to you, we want to be able to say thank you, god. God, it's nothing but to say thank you, god. We don't want anything, but we desire to be close to you. So we thank you now, god. God, we want to thank you so we can be happy. God, we want to be happy, and then we want to be able to acknowledge you and to let you know that we'll never give up.

Speaker 1:

God, we thank you now for knowing that you are there with us, god, hallelujah. We thank you now for our family, god, and understanding what you're doing, god, and we thank you now for your love, god. We just thank you now for being thankful. We want to be thankful in all our ways, god, and so we thank you now, god, god, we love you now for touching our bodies, god, God. We thank you now for healing us from the crown of our head to the soul of our feet, god, god. We thank you now for going with the hospital, god, god, touching those ones that are crying out, those ones that are sick on the day. God, god, we thank you now for giving them strength in their body, god, god, whatever the enemy is planning, we know that you are diverting it from us, god, and so we thank you now, god, in this moment. God, we thank you now, god, for the life and the health and the strength that you are giving to your people.

Speaker 1:

God, god, we thank you now, hallelujah. We thank you now, god, god. We know that the enemy wants to keep us from getting this message. God, we thank you now, god, for what you have done. What you've done, what you're doing, god, even the knowledge that you have given us, god. Hallelujah. We thank you now, god, for what you are doing.

Speaker 1:

God, we thank you now, hallelujah. We thank you now, god. God, we are going to press it to your present God, god, we are going to press it to your present, god, because we want more of you, god. We want more of the love that you have shown us, god. We want more of the spirit, god, that you have given us. We want more of the knowledge that you want to give us, god, god, we want to be able to go with you, god, god, we just love you, god, we honor you, god. We thank you now, god, for even allowing us to make it to this November. God, to make it to this Thanksgiving. God, to even make it to this new year. God, we thank you now because we are running into 2024,.

Speaker 1:

God, we thank you now. We love you, god. We know you are able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah To do exceedingly abundantly, above all, that we can ask or think, god, how y'all got the yes got not. God, we thank you now, god, god, we thank you now, god, god, we thank you now because we know that we are the head and not the tail. We know that we are above and not beneath. We know that we are the lenders and not the borrowers. God, we thank you now for changing the trajectory of our lives.

Speaker 1:

God, god, we know you are able to do exceedingly, god, and so we just love you. We give your name the honor, god. We give your name to praise God, god. It's in Jesus' name that I pray. Amen, amen, amen, hallelujah, hallelujah, yes, I thank you all. Oh, my goodness, god, I thank you. Hallelujah, yes God, hallelujah, yes God, yes God, yes God. Oh, thank you God. All right, all right, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1:

Thank you for tuning in, thank you for watching this. If you want to give your life to Christ, all you have to do is ask A-C-T-S. You can acknowledge that you are a sinner. You can confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross. You can turn from your evil ways and turn from your wicked ways, okay, and you can then seek after his face. Seek after a Bible-based church, a church that is teaching the Word of God and not changing the Word of God.

Speaker 1:
