hey everyone.
Quiana:This is Keana, your creator and your host of Q Christ, and I want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone that has liked you, shared, you commented, whatever you've done. I'm so excited. I don't take this for granted by being a vessel for Christ is something that I take very seriously and I, so I have to make sure I say thank you to those ones because you know, it is always good to be thought about on these days. So anyways, we are here, as you know, I have been speaking with individuals that are su. Successful on purpose. And when I say success, I mean success, not by money, by cars, by fame. I am talking about being success by God and being backed by God and they are consistently pursuing the calling that God has given them on their life. And that is what I'm talking about, those ones that can get on here and. Share their testimony about how God has graced them throughout their success. And I'm excited to have on today. I have the privilege of speaking with someone that when I first met her, I was like, wow, blown away. So I'm excited to have on Are Today sweetheart.
Dr. Jemi:I am so thankful Miss Kiana, for this opportunity and I celebrate all that the Lord is doing in you through you. I am doing great by God's grace. It's been an amazing time a season. I'm so grateful to be born for such a time as this'cause, right. I think of it as imagine if, you know, I was a sportsperson growing up and so I did a lot of running and sprinting and relays and they always put the strongest one at the last. Right. Right. And to think of how God could choose you and me to be a alive for such a time as this, and not the apostle Paul, not the Apostle John. Right. It just makes me feel so grateful that God would have so much faith in not just you and me, but everyone listening today. So I feel. So grateful and so blessed. So thank you. I'm excited for the next few minutes'cause it's not just gonna be information. I sense the Holy Spirit move already with us. Yes. There's gonna be information happening. Thank you. Thank you.
Quiana:You are welcome. And thank you for even considering doing this. Like you said, um, we have tried a couple times and the enemy has tried to. Stop it, you know? And not to say that, you know, you are, you know, you're having to work is the enemy, but we know that the, the interview, um, was scheduled and everything and then now it's like, oh no, we can't do it and stuff like that. But I tell you, God is just so amazing. And when you are intentional about doing God's work, it is nothing that can stop you. You from getting your message across. And the thing about it, like you said, as such, time is now our message is even though we, you know, it was delayed, it was, it's for somebody now. You know what I'm saying? And I, and I'm one of those ones that I believe everything happens for a reason. I don't, I do, you know, God, like, like the Bible says in Romans 28, I mean Romans eight and 28. Is that all things work together for those that love the Lord and are called upon his purpose. So I know that everything that we are going to say today is going to touch Psalm. Okay, so anyways, I'm, look, I. I be, we'll be here preaching all day and I'm excited about that. Um, but I, um, today I just want you to go into a little bit of details about who you are so my audience can really be able to know who Dr. Jimmy, Joe Johnson is because, and believe it or not, she is a doctor for real, like she is a, you know, work at a hospital for real. So I'm excited about that because most people, they. They put their name doctor on there and they, they doing something totally different. So, so just tell us a little bit about who you are.
Dr. Jemi:So thank you again, ma'am. Thank you. Before, and I, before I introduce myself, I do wanna honor my parents, without whom I know I wouldn't be here. So, my dad, who recently transitioned to Glory, his name's Reverend Dr. Johnson. A prophetic voice, a visionary. And now my mother, Dr. Joie Johnson, who actually leads the ministry in India. I wanna just honor both of you'cause because of your yes is the reason I am today. So thank you. Amen. Amen. To my spiritual leaders, my parents, my coach, my mentors, my kingdom harvest a team. I honor all of you and thank you'cause because you are I am today. So, Amen. The way I like to say it mis keana is I was born in this spirit. I was assembled in the beautiful country of India and I was sent to the world.'cause that's my life. I've lived away from my home for over a decade now, so, wow. Yeah. The way I introduce myself is there are a lot of things the Lord has called me to function in, but I co-labor for Christ my master. Wow. And the wow I took to him was I said, God, I will pursue your voice no matter the cost. And I didn't know what I was saying yes to, but God. So I owe God my life, my everything. It is because of God. I am that I am. All that I am is because of Christ. So whatever you're going to hear in the next few minutes, whatever you are going to share, if it's impressing you, I just want you to know that the wisdom you hear is only through the Holy Spirit. Amen. So like I just shared, I'm called to function in many areas. One of that is actually by being a medical doctor, by profession.'cause the Lord said, I have too much love and grace to lose my people. Mm-hmm. On this journey of faith. So I do believe in divine health, all of that. But until we reach that, the Lord is too gracious to lose his loved one. So that's what I do by profession, by vocation. I am a voice of audacious faith. People that know me call me a faith warrior. Mm-hmm. Because, uh, it has been like Abraham when God said, go to the land, I'm showing you, okay, God, what land? I'll show you. Just go. And so that's been my journey. So I am a voice of audacious faith because it is impossible to please God without faith. I speak about renewed hope and God's unconditional love. And I do all of this by actually being also a life skills mastery and success coach. And so by God's grace, I also have the opportunity to be a speaker, a trainer, and recently a two-time international bestselling author. The Lord has me on a journey, and I love the segment today because it says success on purpose. Mm-hmm. And even the whole thing that you spoke about, even when the enemy tried to delay, we needed to be purposeful, intentional about making sure it happened. Right? Right.'cause there's this idea in the minds of so many today that success is a miracle. Right? Success is gonna be handed to you. Right. No one's gotta be purposeful about it. So, The Lord has allowed me to do all of this by having a diploma in psychology, doing my undergraduate in med school. I have a certificate in theology, a bachelor's in theology. I've been certified as a coach and I'm doing all of this in addition to being a postgraduate in my medical career as well. So all of these achievements was because I was in a breaking point. It was over 10 years ago when the Lord took me away from my home at the age of 17. And this was the greatest prophetic voice that I heard because God told me, you are mine. And the greatest revelation I had was when God said, I am yours. Wow. From that moment, my boasting point has always been, I am God's daughter. Right? So God blessed me, and when I say I was in the broken space, God delivered me. From feeling like a slave, because I was a perfectionist. I was this performance mindset person where everything I did, I felt like I performed to belong, right? I needed to do good to fit into groups, and so the Lord delivered me from feeling like a slave. He said, no, I don't love you just for your work. I don't love you. Only if you're onto something. I don't love you only on your best behavior days. Right? So from that point, That's been my boasting point. Everything that I've been able to do Miss Keana mm-hmm. Is because I boast that I am is and when I know God is my father, oh, people can play me.'cause I have my father backing me. So that's who I am,
Quiana:ma'am. Yes, that is, oh man. I'm sitting here like the thing about it, we have to, like you, when you were saying of being delivered from being a perfectionist, that is so, that was me. I was always, um, and I'll share a little bit, I went through a divorce, um, of 20 years and I was a perfectionist. And so when I went through that, I was like, Lord, I did everything correct like I'm trying to figure out. And God had to really break me down and to say that I, and like you said, when you find out, Who you are and you find out that you are a child of God and you find out that God has always been there, you know? Yeah. And he is waiting on us to realize how close he is, you know? Yes. A lot of people don't realize that God is right there, you know? Mm-hmm. We'll be so blind and like when Paul had. You know, his eyes was blinded. It had to be the, the scales have to fall off, and so we, we'll sit there and be so blinded by our own agenda. You know? Yeah. Like you say, you wanna try to fit in. I wanna be this perfect person because I wanna fit in with this group. And growing up as a little girl, I, you know, my dad had um, he has had 15 child children. My dad has transitioned as well. And um, and it's so, it's so crazy'cause his birthday will actually be tomorrow and, um, and his father's day weekend. But yes. I know who he, I know where he is. But anyways, um, you know, I, being that I was born with a lot of siblings, that I had to try to find who Kiana was. Yeah. And that was the, that was the main thing is, you know, so I wanted to fit in on all sides. And so I would try to do stuff to be perfect on all sides and know, so when we realize that who we are, Like you said, can nobody stop you? You know? Mm-hmm. When you give God that, yes. And a lot of time I talk on my podcast about that second chance at getting life right, and when you can have that second chance, just like you said at 17, you know, you had to realize that you, you know, God was there and you are God's child. And God whispered to you, that's how it is when you get that second chance. Because at first we didn't realize that. So now we have that second chance to be able to be that. Give God that. Yes. So that is just, oh God, that is so amazing. You know, um, within itself. Um, and like you were saying from a child, uh, you know, we have to really know that. God is there, Lord have mercy to say, Lord, I could talk to you probably all day. So when you was a child, did you even imagined that you would be doing, um, going across countries and being mm-hmm. Being this coach and being this doctor as you are now? Did you even imagine that or did you even leave any breadcrumbs that this, who you would be, Hmm.
Dr. Jemi:That is such a good question because I've always said this, when you live life, you understand it when you look backwards, right? So I did not really know this is what God has called me, but from a very young age, I always dreamed bigger. And when I say big, it was bigger than what I was living in. Me, me too. Because both my parents were pioneers. And ministers of the gospel. So I saw firsthand the beauty and the pain. I was wrapped in a life called to ministry'cause we didn't have a separate home. We lived in the church. I was literally, the way I say it is I was born in the church. I was raised in the church, I went to a Christian school. I heard all about Jesus, right? And so, but I grew up with this conflict between the God of the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament. Right. The key thing, Ms. Kiana, when we don't know who we are, it's so easy for the enemy to use people around us. Mm-hmm To make us look like every one of us. We look like everybody and at the end don't even know who you are. And I grew up like that'cause I wanted to please everyone around me'cause I was Everybody's Yes girl. Right.'cause as a pastor's daughter, you needed to perform. You needed to be the best at everything you do. So I walked with that weight, forgetting that God had a purpose for me. But God had put that seed, and that's why I love the word of God. It's my life. It's everything. Because I searched the whole world for everything else. I read science books. I read philosophy I, I did search right until when the Lord took me away from home at the age of 17. I said, God, show me who you are. I didn't have my parents around. I didn't have loved ones around. It was a new land, a new culture, a new place. And I broke down. I said, oh my goodness, what have I done? Wow. Because I was such a homegirl. I did not wanna leave my home.'cause my parents were everything. I was very, I was brought up in this secure background where the only thing we knew was to go to school, go back to church, come back home. That's all. We didn't have a life around outside of that. So for me, Leaving my home was, I said, no way. I have a plan. I've got everything for the next 25 years. I know what I wanna do. I know when I wanna get married. I had my whole plan. Right. But this is where I've written this book. When I say how, when, God, it's not even mess up your plan, it's when God gives you his plan, which is so much better than even your dreams. Right? Right. So at the age of, I think it was when I was in my seventh grade, which is when I was, um, 12. I actually saw this vision where I was holding a beating heart. Hmm. And I used to see visions and dreams and I used to tell my parents about it, but because they were first time pioneering pastors, the background that I come from, women were not necessarily involved or seen much in ministry. Right. So I was always told, you know, make sure you just go to school, read your books, get a good grade'cause you need to find a good man to get married to you. Right. That's what I was told. And I, I, I was okay with that'cause I read books to escape the realities I was living in. Wow. Because books and pages let me travel the world. And it's so interesting how if you actually look at what you live in mis Kiana, you actually see the blueprint of where God is taking you. Right.'cause in when I was four months of age, I actually died. Oh wow. Yes. And it was in the arms of my grandma and it's so beautiful. I'm not gonna keep us, you know, with the whole story. But just to tell you quickly what happened. The Lord told my parents to go to different rooms, and I'm the first born, and I was even prophesied before I was born. My dad got a name before my mom even was pregnant with me. Wow. So this is why when I say God doesn't, babies are not just born. Children are not just born. God speaks them as a solution to this world, right. When they went to their separate rooms, the Lord spoke to both of them the same thing the Lord said. If you have a master and he gives you something to keep mm-hmm. Until he comes back from this whole journey. When he comes back from the trip and asks you for this treasure you've had to take care of, what would your response be? Wow. And my mom and dad in separate rooms, they said we would give it back to you.'cause we've been stewards of it. Right. When they came out. My mom was like, the Lord spoke to me. My dad said he spoke to me too. And so when they shared the same vision, they knew the Lord is asking what he gave us. Right. And so my dad took me up being the first born. He said, God, you gave her to us. We've been stewards, and if this is what you need, she's yours. Wow. I breathed again. Wow. So when you asked me if I saw all this, this was when the Lord told me in 2019, he said, I've called you to give life where too often death lives. Wow. Because he breathes life into me. So I know what the power of words can do.'cause I've lived on both sides of it. Right? I've had words break me. I've had words form my world, which was such a deception, right? But when the Lord's word spoke to me, like it says in John 6 66, it says, the words I speak to you, their spirit and their life. Mm. And so did I see all of this? No, I didn't. But if I look back, God always kept speaking to me and I'm a writer. Right. I keep taking notes'cause I always thought it was my way of telling King Jesus what's happening without other people getting to know what's happening, right?'cause I had visions and I walked through all of that with no clarity, really no language to what I was going through. I felt like I was plagued right for most of my life because nobody told me this is okay, this is normal. Especially because I was a girl, right? So this is why God does not make mistakes, and I want whoever's listening to understand no matter what you're going through in life. There is a purpose, right? There is a plan that God has for you according to Jeremiah 29 11. Yes. So did I think of all this? No. But did God leave clues? Absolutely. And that's the best part of the success. Yay. Success always leaves clues if only we are sensitive enough to listen, to watch and not be too carried away.'cause we live in an era of distractions. Oh my goodness. Right. Good distractions. So, Did I see all this? I had an idea.'cause I always said, if the Lord could create the skies, which is so expanse, then why should his people suffer? That's when he gave me this word. He said, I am extravagant, but not wasteful. Yes. So everything I went through, being a little girl, struggling, any request I had, my parents would say, go to pray, go pray to God about it. We don't have the finances. Go pray to God about it. So they built that foundation of prayer going to God first thing. Even people in school would call me. Yes ma'am. People in school would say, here's the walking Bible. Oh, let's go to Jimmy.'cause I was known as the counselor in school. Little did I know God was giving me clues again for where he was taking me to. Wow. Wow. So that's just a little bit of how it all came to be, ma'am. Yeah.
Quiana:That, you know, man, I'm sitting here listening to you and it's like, like, like you say, um, and we, you know, I grew up in church too, of course. And, you know, I went, my, my grandmother was a missionary and, but in the church that we grew up in, women wasn't to speak. A lot. Too. Lot too. And, um, it wasn't like a, you can't get on stage. Mm-hmm. And women is not supposed to talk. And I, you know, I was one of those ones that, um, always knew that I was a dreamer. I, I'm like you, I dream big. I'm, I'm a, you know, um, I, I know you, you know, pastor Daniels and um Yes. How we talk, how he talk about the having the bag, you know, the big audacious goal. And I'm, I've always been that one where I would dream big and even from a kid of like, You know, like how you say God always leave his little Yes. You know, um, as Bishop TD Jakes had said, leave breadcrumbs of who you're going to be in in that instance because you have, um, And it's so crazy. I shared similar stories with you. My, um, I was always a sickly child, you know? Mm-hmm. I had asthma really bad. And my, um, my mom said when I was six months, they wanted to, you know, put me in a hospital to even do a study on me. And, but even back then, I knew that God had a plan. For my life. And I always, um, and so when I hear you speak of that, it just makes sense, you know, and how you put it and even how you put it. And you say that God will always, always, always, Have, um, have you in mind, have a future, just like, you know, it says in Jeremiah 29 and 11, like you said, that he created us for us purpose. Yes. Like he, everybody has a purpose. And if you can, like you say, um, just to the, the listeners, if you can get to that point where you can listen to God and allow him. You know, you give him that. Yes. And say, you know what, I'm gonna follow what God want me to do. And that's just so amazing. I'm, I'm so excited about, I'm so excited about listening at your journey. Um, wow. You know, and. Sometimes, um, I know we come into different challenges. Mm-hmm. Have you faced any challenges that were just, you know, just, I, I know it's not too big'cause nothing is too hard. I, for God, but I know. What are some of the biggest challenges that you face even now in your career? Um,
Dr. Jemi:yeah, that, that is so good because, um, As a life skills mastery and success coach, one of the things I help people is to identify, even clarify their calling. Mm-hmm. And know what their purpose is. And so there's like, there's a free gift that I've even put on my website for people that are interested. Like we are all called, what do you do about it? What, what's next? And so I give people like the seven keys so they know, okay, this is what I do to unleash the potential God has put in me. So when you spoke about just pain and when you spoke about challenges, Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. Like I went through it from the moment I was a little girl, like my life, and this is when again, looking back, is when I understood when the Lord showed me examples from the word. Any time a birth of a child was tried to be, you know, was ab botted, the enemy's plan is always to ab bought it.'cause that's a seed because it goes back to the garden when the Lord said that your seed will crush. Ahead of the serpent, right? So every child has that potential when they are born into a family of God. So my birth was how get it because the enemy knew.'cause he doesn't have the Holy Spirit to have direction, but he knows what he gets clues.'cause he is like, if she's born into a family like this, if he's born into this family, that gotta be something that's gonna be a threat to us. Right? So he tried even with my birth, and look at examples we have from the word Moses, right? She's us even. Their birth was targeted.
Quiana:Yes. Right,
Dr. Jemi:right.'cause there was always destiny that was greater than what they were born into. Exactly. Who knew? Knew a baby in a manja would continue to bring transformation. So when you ask me about pain challenges, yes ma'am. There is no calling without a challenge. Right. Guess what? The Bible talks about it in Jeremiah 17, seven. That the heart is deceitful above all else and desperately wicked. Huh? Yes. Which means we are triune even in our own nature, where we are spirit, where we live in a body. Mm-hmm. And we possess a soul, right? So the moment we are saved, our spirit is completely transformed. But the problem is our flesh and soul need to catch up, right? So this is why, just because you are born, the Bible says in two Corinthians five 17, if you are in Christ, you are a new creature, is the real. Rendering of that word, it's not even creation creature. Mm-hmm. And all things are passed away. Right. But what happens is so many of us, we think just because the day I was born, oh my goodness, my past, my trauma, it's all just gonna disappear. No, it does not. Oh no, it does. You gotta work at it in the sense, take it to God and say, these are my broken pieces. And I had a lot of broken pieces, right?'cause here I'm growing up with lack of identity. The Lord had to show me that even before I started my med school, and I'm so grateful he did that because imagine a girl who doesn't know who she is and she thinks ident is what you do. Mm-hmm. I would've been messed up right from the start, but the Lord had to show me identities who you are and whose you are. Exactly. It's not what you do. Right. So the Lord started there. So even every challenge I faced, the Lord had to show me saying, this is a pattern of what you were thought. This is you having back bad doctrine inform you about someone who I'm not. Right. And that was my starting point, Ms. Keana, when the Lord said, your journey to wholeness, to transformation, to women, healing begins with you detoxing from bad doctrine from good people,
Quiana:right? Good people, bad doctors said people not bad. Right? Yeah.
Dr. Jemi:So I needed to forgive people that didn't know.'cause my goodness, I get so excited about these things because God is a master planner. There's something called as divine blindness. Mm-hmm. Where he'll cause people not to see you wanted so that they don't abuse you if they really knew who you're supposed to be. Woo.
Quiana:That is so good. Oh my goodness. So I
Dr. Jemi:walked through that and I thought people, I was like, why? Why is this so hard? Why are things happening against me? Where all along God says, and I was reminded of this when you spoke about God always leaves those breadcrumbs according to how Bishop says it. Mm-hmm. It's the worst in Proverbs 24, where it says The glory of God is to hide a mat. It's the glory of kings to search for it. Right. So God is not hiding it from us. He's hiding it for us. For us. Yes. So with me every challenge, and even right now, I am walking through certain challenges right now, but guess what? For a child of God, this is where mindset is key. As a man, think it's so is he. Mm-hmm. Because everything great has to be refined, right? Everything great has to be refined.'cause guess what? Something that's not, everything in its crude form is cheap. Right? Mm. You could take any jewel, you could take any petroleum, you could take these, whatever. Everything in its crude form is cheap. Mm-hmm. So guess what you gotta have to do? You gotta be trained. You gotta refine yourself. And there's a process where the Lord is saying, I'm refining your heart.'cause the heart is desperately wicked, right? It's the flesh. It goes down to dust it. It wants to do things that make you feel good. Guess what? Spirituality, walking with the Lord is not about us. It's greater than us. Right? Because making us feel good is lust is not love. True love does not consider itself. Right. Look at what Jesus did. So do I have challenges? Absolutely. But the way I look at it is it's not a challenge to me. It's an opportunity for God's power to be manifested through me now.'cause if it's great, then he's gonna get all the more glory and it's gonna be a greater testimony. Exactly. So that's how I look at it. When I have a challenge, the way I say even to my clients is, whenever a problem comes to you, it's because it's attracted to the solution inside of you. What are you gonna do about it?
Quiana:This. I just, I, I look, I was sitting here thinking about when you were saying about the broken pieces. Mm-hmm. And you know how, you know, we bring those broken pieces to God and then sometimes when we go back, we may find more pieces. And that's the thing. And we have to. When you find more pieces, you have to make sure that you are intentional about bringing those pieces to be able to, to put it together and to be able to, so God can make you whole. And a lot of people think that, okay, yeah, I got saved and I brought that. That's not the end. You have to, that's the beginning of everything. Mm-hmm. I tell, I often tell people, when you give your life to Christ, it is an intentional thing. You have to continue to do it. Yes. Even throughout the challenges, even throughout the obstacles, even throughout the storms or whatever, you have to make sure, just think about it when, when, um, a storm is coming. And you just be like, okay, I ain't gonna do nothing because the storm is here. How will you get anything done? Exactly. So you have to be intentional and say, you know what? I'm gonna get my umbrella. I'm gonna, you know, I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna get my shelter. I'm gonna go out and do what I need to get done. So that's how it is with your salvation. You have to be intentional. You have to be, um, and, and preparing yourself. Like I tell people, you know, I'm getting ready to start podcasting, um, consulting. So good. You know, if you know that you wanna be in podcasting, you have to start mm-hmm. Being intentional about it. You have to start looking things up. You have to start, you know, practicing. You have to start making sure you write things down. You have to be intentional about your salvation and about being able to know that God can heal you, but you have to be intentional about it. Yes. You know, working in the emergency room.
Dr. Jemi:Sure. When you were just talking about, it's important for us to bring up broken pieces to God and I'll say why?'cause I grew up in ministry for all my life, right. And at the age of 17 too, I started ministering in churches. I was a worship leader and then an Ian minister, all of that. And one of the things the Lord told me is the danger of us not taking care of our soul realm mm-hmm. Is we start to see through the filter of our heart. Right. You're not listening to God properly and the way we transfer information is gonna be through the filter of our pain. Right. God does not desire that for us. Right. That's why it's so dangerous in this season and age when a lot of people call themselves prophetic. Every believer of God is actually supposed to be walking in the gift of the prophetic. Exactly. But the danger is when we don't heal enough.'cause imagine we go through something painful and if I'm not healed from it now I wear the filters of what I went through. And anything I hear God speak now is gonna process itself through that filter. Right? So we are giving people mismanaged information. Oh, I just sent God over this right now. Oh, which is why even the Holy Spirit says in three John one, two, I pray that you prosper in all things, even in your health, just as your soul prospers, right? Salvation is all of you. It's not just your spirit because how is this body, the way I even give an explanation to it is, If you're driving a vehicle, okay, and you go bang into a tree or a house or something, was it the vehicle's fault or the driver's fault? Mm, the driver, right? Mm-hmm. You and drive properly. Now guess what? Your body is just the container. It's the machine. It's the vehicle to take you to destiny, to purpose, right? Right. If you go get yourself into accidents and problems, It's not the body's fault, it's the driver. Can I tell you a secret of who the driver is? It's your mind.
Quiana:Exactly.
Dr. Jemi:That's so good. So if you don't heal from what you go through, you hurt other people in the process, you bleed on other people that are not even responsible for your pain. Wow. That is so God desires healing, but guess what, ma'am? Mm-hmm. It's our responsibility, even though healing is available. It's not a guarantee because you need to take that first step to go to God about it. Exactly. Exactly. So everything about life is up to you. Right. Imagine God giving you the power to decide to be what you want to be. That's where the Bible says, uh, the battle is not to the strongest, the race, not to the swiftest. Mm-hmm. Favor not to those of understanding, but time and chance eth to us all. What are we doing about
Quiana:it? Right. That's the question. And that's so good. Like you were saying that our mind is the driver, you know? Yes. That's why the Bible says we have to transform our mind. Yes. And, and to keep our mind on the thoughts above. So we have to make sure that our mind is, and like you say, the filter, you know, when you were talking about how, you know, the broken filter and mm-hmm. And I went to thinking, I don't know why I wanna think about coffee,'cause I guess I need some, but if you had a broken. Filter. When you get ready to get your coffee, it is not going to be right. You know, you gonna get this nasty coffee, you gonna get all these, you know, grinds in it or whatever. And it just makes so much sense. You know, when you have the broken pieces and you looking through your, your broken heart, you're going to hurt someone else because you're not healed completely. Ugh. Mm-hmm. That's so good. I love that.
Dr. Jemi:Yes. I just got something. The most dominant pain in your life is a direction to where you will be a savior also. Ooh, that's so cool.'cause passion and purpose are not wasted in the realm of the kingdom. Right? Because when you walk through pain, there's also the Lord's actually saying you can actually come out, not just being healed, but you come out with the anointing to help other people heal right through the same thing you walk through,
Quiana:right. Right. That's so good. Oh, look, we can sit up here and talk about this all day long. I, I, you know, I, I, I'm one of those where I could be talking about it all day, but I wanted to get to the book a little bit, um, because I really, for me, being that I am. Um, one of the ones that you say in the book about, I, I've been married, but I'm un unmarried now. Mm-hmm. Because you know, of divorce and for anybody that don't, um, know that she does have a book and I will be posting it, but, um, just, I just, when you decided to, you know, write the book, Could you just give us a little bit about what were, what was your idea from Yeah. In the books?
Dr. Jemi:Yeah. So, um, since, like I mentioned, you know, I've lived away from home for such a long time. I was actually given front row seats to watch so many youngsters, so many young adults wrestle with the tension of this is what the world says love should look like, marriage should look like, sex should look like romance should look like, and they don't know what the word demands of us. So I saw that there was that cosmic gap and I said, my goodness, there is a lot of fear. A lot of insecurity. Because even myself being this kingdom single away from home for so many years, there were a lot of opportunities and this's why? Like there was a preacher who said, holiness is not when you don't have options. Holiness is when you do have options and still choose God. Amen. So it, it was all around me. It was there.'cause I mean, you are a young girl. The first thing people ask you when you go for. Anything is, are you married? Are you dating? Do you have someone? And when you say no, they're like, why? What's wrong? What's wrong with you? Yeah. Yeah. And I was like, there's nothing wrong. So the reason I wrote this is because I even noticed 65 to 70% of the church is made of unmarried people. And so I wrote this. I didn't even intend to make this my first book actually, but the Lord gave this. And that's why this book is written by mandate. It's a mandate. It was written by command. It was not a choice. And I wrote this within four weeks because this was a life that I lived and so I knew it was within me. And when I knew I needed to obey what the Lord told me for now I wrote it because I wanted this to be a beginning to conversations, to discussions to give language.'cause this is where a lot of people choose the wrong direction. When they don't have language to what they're going through, they think they're the only one. Right? So I wanted to give content for this phase, which is such a void in today's. Especially church, right? The reason I wrote this book is because in John, Jesus actually says, in this world, you will have tribulation. So what I got from that verse is, okay, there is this truth, which is undeniable, which is whatever you can't avoid in life, you'll have to manage in life, right? Or when you can't manage, how are you gonna manage something you don't understand? Right. So my attempt with this book is to help get people clarity about their now so that they can have discernment about their next'cause. The world says single is the opposite to being married, not according to the word of God. No. There's a difference between being single and being unmarried, right? So I wrote this because the way the enemy uses relationships to deceive us about who God is to us. Is visible around us. So I wanted to write about relationships in life because it ultimately affects our view of how we love God and how God loves us, right? So as long as our relationship with God is intact, then we are going to know how to have relationships with people. Keep boundaries because guess what? You know who you are and you don't lower your boundaries or standards just to please other people and to live for people, right? When you do that, guess what? You stay true to your intimacy with the father, right? So I want people to know that kingdom singleness does not mean that you resign yourself glumly to say, oh my goodness, I don't have somebody to live my happily ever after. No, you are happily ever after. Kin start now. Right? So I wrote this book again, like I told you, the words of God are spirit and their life, and I wanted to bring life to where too often this message is misunderstood. To be a kingdom single is your advantage point actually to do all things for God, to prepare yourself.'cause again, Proverbs 16, four says, the preparation of the heart belongs to man, but the answer of the tongue comes from the Lord. Meaning it's our business, what we do with our heart. And when I say it's our business, you can't expect God to just hand over, deliver to you what you're not ready for, right? You get what you prepare yourselves for, not what you want in life. Exactly. So this is my preparation, my manual, the guide that I want us to have to have successful relationships and marriages. Yeah.
Quiana:Yeah. See, I, I'm telling you, I have, um, and I'm, I have gotten to almost to chapter five'cause I'm so busy. Hmm. And um, chapter four was just like, I, I think I highlighted a lot of chapter four. Mm-hmm. Because, you know, the cultural and, um, you know, it talks about the difference of the cultural and the um Yes. Right. Let me get to it.'cause I was like, This is so good, the cultural or Christianity, and it just really, really sat home and, um, it's really a good book, you guys. I really, I, I am going to make sure that all the information. Get in there because I want everybody to be able to read, um, this book and reading is so fundamental and it's so good for the soul. I don't know why people don't read. Absolutely. But the Bible says our, you know, our people lack because, um, our people, parents, because of lack of knowledge, a lot of people don't like to spend the time to read. Mm. And you know, the manual to life is the Bible and a lot of people don't even like to spend the time to read that. And, um, so I'm so thankful that you have given this blueprint to, you know, kingdom singleness where people can understand that. Okay. Yeah. Just because I'm. Single don't mean that I am single, you know? No. Yes. The world may say it that, oh yeah, you don't have anybody or whatever, but I have something greater and a greater purpose in life. And like you say in the Bible, it is better to be single and do ministry if you could be single and do ministry and be able to know that God is backing you up and he's going to. Sin that one somebody that is great for your purpose. It is just wants to be the, the, you know it is the better all because you got that one that is. You know, greater for your purpose, where you all both can do ministry together. That is the manay, you know, when it comes to a kingdom spouse, you know? Mm-hmm. And, um, and so I just, I enjoyed it. I am thrilled. And, um, so I'm not gonna hold you any longer if you just want to give any advice. To mm-hmm. My audience that are just even your, your coaching area. Um, because I believe in finding a coach, I believe that having someone to coach you throughout life is, is good because, you know, we need a therapist for our past and a coach for our future. Mm. And so if you have any advice that you would like to leave for the audience, I would love for you to do
Dr. Jemi:that. Thank you. Thank you, Ms. Kiana, again, for this opportunity and just, just a, you know, outro about the book. Your singleness is not a punishment and marriage is not a right, right? But so many people, I encounter young men and women on the daily who are unmarried longer than they plan to be. I wonder, may, my goodness, how did I miss the dream boat? But what's more painful to hear is they wonder why God has an answered their prayers for marriage. But this is the book where God says Everything to you to do in life is for purpose. But that's the danger for society to do, where we don't realize people run after money, people run after success, people run after houses and homes and buildings, even anointing. And God's question is what extent? Like and then what? Because if you don't have a purpose which drives you, ambition can kill you. Ooh,
Quiana:that is, that is so good. You might need to say that again. Say that one more time. I don't think they hurt me. When you don't
Dr. Jemi:have a purpose that drives you, ambition can kill you.'cause remember the heart again, it's deceitful, and in the Hebrew actually says it's incurable. Ah. Because this is why the Bible says where your treasure is there, your heart will be. Mm-hmm. So if you're not invested into the things of God, and if you don't even, that's even marriage, children, family. If your heart is not invested into spending time with God and knowing the purpose behind why you're married, why do you have children? Why family? Those things can actually make you want more of it, and you're never going to be satisfied, right? The Bible says, for this purpose, Shall a man leave his home and cleave to his wife, which means marriage has a purpose, but most people don't even know why they get married for the sake of being married to fulfill societal needs. No. So to those of you that's listening, even when Miss Kiana said how coaches are for the future. Oh yes, they are. In 2020, the Lord spoke to me one morning. He said, you Jami will go from being a cheerleader to coach all my life I was a cheerleader for people's destinies, dreams, vision. And the Lord said, you be a coach. And I was not wanting to be coach'cause I had enough already going on. But when the Lord said it, I wrote it down.'cause again, I write notes. I take note of everything. I wrote it down a year later when I actually started doing what the Lord called me today. And this was birthed again through my dad's transition. When he transitioned, I asked the Lord this question saying, God, who encourages the encouragers? And where can leaders lead? Right, because it was painful. It was hard.'cause I realized what we had,'cause it was unexpected, was Saturn, but I know God's not done right. He birthed Kingdom Harvest her. He said the harvest is plentiful. Look above, look at the fields. But I don't have enough laborers. And so that's what what we do is all about Kingdom harvest. Her, the h e r is about to heal. Mm-hmm. To equip and release. Mm-hmm. That's my goal, to have people walk according to what the Apostle John said in all things that they would prosper. So to those of you that are listening, I actually had the Lord speak this. Jesus may actually ask more of us, but he's doing this to secure something far better for us. Right. And I was always like, I have the Bible, I have God, it's going to do me good. And then God said, what? Then if it's not still served your purpose, you need extra help. And that's where I think most Christians suffer. We are too proud to ask for external help, right? I wanna break that today. Asking for help is not weakness, it's wisdom, it's strategy. Yes. You don't have to learn through experience. The Bible is the best example for that. Instruction is the best teacher. Oh my goodness. So to you, listening today, God's redemption of you is gonna be bigger than the headline of the rumor about you. I want you to hear that God is saying that his redemption of you is gonna be bigger than the headline of the rumor about you. Let it sit. You don't have to speak back. Trust him with your process. Maybe for most of you, you're going through something that looks so challenging, it's impossible for change, but I wanna just hear this from God. There's too much at stake for you to urge. You get into these moments where you feel like you don't know what next, and to give into despair. There's no script in God's hands that cannot be. Revive is according to his plan, his perfect plan. Remember, 2000 years ago, that was the greatest reversal that happened outside as symmetry in Jerusalem. We celebrate resurrection Sunday because of what happened to the life of Jesus. His enemies raised a toast thinking, oh, there's, there goes the dead Messiah, right? His followers were hiding because they were afraid their worlds, their hearts were broken, right? It seemed like the savior of humanity could not save himself. But then when all joy was lost, God's like, wait a moment, my heart is beginning to beat. And guess what? Jesus stood up. He placed his heel on the head of Satan, defeated death. And the Bible says, oh, death, where is your sting? Oh, grave. Where is your W tree? Right? Guess what God did? The God of great turnarounds performed his greatest work on that day. Yes. So that could be your starting point. Guess what? The sky is not a limit. It's your view. Now, death is the beginning point to yours in my life. He defeated it, which means God says, you can choose to live as long as you want. Because with God, nothing is impossible. And so it is with those who believe that's you and me. So be purposeful today. Get help when you need.'cause you don't have to learn through blister. When you can learn through blessing, choose well.
Quiana:That is, thank you. Oh Lord, I am gonna have to break you back. Lord have mercy. Let's go. I'm, because, you know, just sitting here and to think about it, I, you know, I'm sitting here like, Lord, she coaching me. She is sitting here telling me things that. You know, I need right now, in this moment today. You know, and I can remember the rea, one of the reasons why I asked you is I saw an interview, I think you were doing an interview with someone else, and as you spoke, I teared up. Like I, you know, I just like the Holy Spirit just fell on me as light as you talk. And, um, normally, you know, I would wanna pray, but I'm gonna ask you what you. Pray us out and Pleasure. Yes, and um, and then we'll go forward then. So if you would just pray us out and I'm, I'm over here like trying to hold back tears now because you are just so, thank you. I, the Holy Spirit is all over you and I can feel it. Hallelujah. I am sitting here like Lord versus trying to contain myself. So if you can just pray us out. Yes. And then, um, you know, I'll let you go today.
Dr. Jemi:Yes, ma'am. Thank you. It will be my pleasure. Let's pray. The spirit of the living God, we thank you, we honor you. The one who sits in the circumference of himself, the one who plays galaxies, the one who plays stars in the sky. You call them each by name. You give the schedule to the sun, to rise and to set. You will place boundaries to the sea. Yeshua, Ashia. Yes. And if you take so much care for all these elements that you have created, how much more for those of us you have redeemed? By your precious blood. Yes. So God, I thank you for this podcast. I thank you for your daughter who you have even called and appointed. Yes. For this time. Now I hear the Lord speak even to you, Ms. Keana. The Lord is saying, courage is not inherited. It's birthed. So the things you have to even walk through, the Lord is saying it was for courage to be birthed within you. Yes, God. So the Lord is even saying when you face chariots and horses, the Lord is saying, do not fear. Do not even look at them. For, I've called you to spy the land and not the people. Yes. So go forward in the might of the Lord.'cause God is saying, according to Hebrews 10, seven, you will fulfill what the volume of the RI book has written about you, which is to do the will of the perfect Father. So even when you feel like you are by yourself, the Lord is saying, I've got more in store for you. Yeah. And when you've got me and those that are going to be for you, majority is on your side, daughter. Yes. And I've just, for every listener that's listening to this podcast, I thank you that with your word faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. So for every voice that has heard the words that were proceeding out of this podcast, I thank you. That man does not live on bread alone, but every word that proceeded from the mouth of God, every word is a doorway to their next Holy Spirit. So I pray that they would just have the mindset to know that God wants better for me.'cause that's why he died such a gruesome death so that we could live. In the abundance in Zoe life. So God, I thank you that those you have called who equip them. Yes, you qualify them. So I just break even the spirit of helplessness right now. Learn helplessness. God's even saying that you are not called to be victims. You're called to be TERs.'cause when you say you cannot, you're saying the Holy Spirit in you is not powerful enough and you are defenseless. Yes. But the Lord wants to change the narrative of those that are listening to say, I have called you with a plan that is far greater than the dreams you've dreamt for yourself. So many of you have passions and pains that you've been through, which the Lord said. Our indicators to what's next for you. Yes. So listen to me. Follow me for I will make you fishers of mens, says the Lord. And when you lift Jesus high, I will draw people to my name. So go forth, be strengthened.'cause you will not do this by might nor by power, but by the spirit of the Lord. So Father, I thank you and bless them and whatever you've called them to do, that they will know that it's on purpose. That we gotta be intentional about our lives'cause there's only one, and this is not rehearsal. God, please help us to leave fingerprints of legacy for those that are coming after us.'cause you've trusted us to finish this last lap. Yes, God. And we wanna do you proud God. And we know that we will do your good when we step out. Just like your daughter said, when we think of things above'cause we are seated with Christ. In heavenly places, and we get looked down. We don't have to keep looking up to see what can I achieve, but we look down to say, this is what God has for me, and I'm gonna walk it out until he says, well done. Good and faithful servant. Yes. So Father, we give you glory and a praise. We thank you King Jesus. We celebrate your great name. In your mighty name, we pray and ask. Amen.
Quiana:Amen. Amen. Amen. Oh, woo. Over here like, Lord have mercy. Thank you. Oh my goodness. I'm so excited that you were able to come. I mean, this has been such and, um, prophetic. This is, this has been. So, um, spiritual, this has have been so ordained. I, I cannot explain, uh, how I feel right now, so I'm just so thankful that you were here. Thank you. Thank you all for tuning in. I promise you that we are going to make sure all her information is on. On here. Make sure that you are going to, you know, the page, her page, and to just discover what she have, like she said, the seven keys to, um, it's, what is it? The seven keys. Unleash your potential hidden potential to, to fulfill your calling. We all have a call on our life. So we have to make sure that we can be intentional about discovering what our calling is and being able to unleash it. So make sure you go to the kingdom, um, harvest her. Dot com. Com. Yes. Um, and look at it. I'm sitting here looking at it now'cause I'm like, look, I am going to invest in me. And if you can't invest in yourself, then it's, it's will, it's, it's hard. You wanna invest in yourself. So I want to invest in myself and, and probably. You know, and do a couple of your, your, your, um, classes or a couple of your's. I'm excited, I'm excited about what, thank you. What is coming next? So, but anyways, thank you all. Make sure you go to the YouTube channel, the um, www.qforchrist.org. Make sure you are just leaving a message so I know that you have been there and we will see you on the next. Success on purpose and make sure that you are staying queued for Christ. All right, bye y'all.
